She did like the thoughts of being the alpha and learning to be one with the puppy in a way. She had it mostly mapped out in her head the things that she would need to do but it was always good to hear David's advice. She ate her food and shook her head. David smiled and chuckled a little. "You really don't want that but if he feels needy you could keep his bed beside yours. Puppies can figure most things out and get everywhere" he mused and heard little barks and slightly louder yaps coming back their way. "So you are back?" he said to Sparky and his new friend who was faster then the little dog was. "Your dinner is later" he added to both dogs looking up at Mallory and himself. Then got back to his dinner as the canines just kept looking at them. Finding this funny David chuckled again. "That's called puppy dog eyes. She felt in a way that the puppy represented her since she knew that she too could be mischivious but more than that it was something else that hopefully would teach her about being patient with others which was something that she knew she failed on. David petted Sparky and then the still unnamed puppy. They did seem to appreciate it as he partially transformed the arm he was using to make it longer like a greyhounds leg and paw. So reached the dogs without having to leave his seat. "He could just miss me but he's got to get used to you as well. That might take a bit longer but he does have a doggie friend now" David mused with a smile. Together the smalls dogs might cause a lot of trouble. Mallory Nottingham |

A puppy parent with David, she supposed that she had been through worse and it was not that much of a bad idea. "Thank you for cooking by the way. I owe you a cooked dinner one day and when that day comes do not let me skip out and simply buy takeout." It was time for her to take on more responsibility and learn things like cooking and being less cluttered with her belongings. David Lightfeather |

David didn't mind co-parenting a puppy or even cooking for Mallory. He could still keep teaching her things related to culinary skills. "Thank you Mallory. So when my apartment comes through do you want to have dinner there? We can make it together once we agree what we are making. Along with two little dogs tagging along?" he asked. It would be the best way for her to learn for starters. He'd also have to up his game and get a cook book next time he was at the mall. That was for another day and this had been a very good one.
