Some games are better with two - Mallory

Alice was used to living with her pay without really knowing how much a person would have earned in the states doing a similar job. She could go to the mall and pay her bills without having to worry about money. She even had savings which was something that was new to her. Mallory liked the idea of a minibus and the backup plan of bicycles would work if the main plan failed.

"Not a problem. All that sounds like a plan and you have the contact" Alice replied. She didn't really want to test her bosses patience either as her work was that. Really only for work. She might need a pushbike too in due course.

"Now lets look at the radios" she suggested. These would be helpful for what Mallory had in mind given they might end up in an area with limited phone signals.

Alice examined one of the radios that Mallory handed to her. As they had four packs it might be enough to cover the group size.

"You don't need to worry about that Mallory. I'd have probally just been going back to do more studying if we hadn't started eating donuts. This is fun I wasn't expecting" she cheerfully mused and was glad she'd ran into Mallory in the first place. You could make friends in unexpected ways.

"I would use a much more powerful version of this in my job as a back up communications device. Just in case there's phone problems. This basic version has a two kilometres range while the batteries last as well as multi channels. You could connect all eight together if you wanted into a radio network or even set them up as smaller networks by selecting different channels. You can even charge these from a power pack as they are rechargeable LIPO batteries" Alice explained showing Mallory the features as she explained them and showed her the charging point. You just needed to plug them in to do so.

"Two kilometres is probally going to be enough but that depends on what you have in mind" she added. Then drank more of the lemonade.
