Madison couldn't argue that you needed down time. In fact it was essential otherwise you'd burn yourself out. "You keep doing that girl" she cheerfully replied. She could deal with somebody being that excitable and in fact could be like that at times with her girlfriend. Then Mickie had a suggestion and Madison had a reply of sorts. "I don't think we do but you could write something out and leave it with the receptionist. It'll reach the right people in time I suppose" she added. She was still going to steady herself into a lot of things that she had planned to do in her head because she did not want to overwhelm herself or anyone around her as she still listened. Madison considered the possibilities given Mickie had more steady working hours than she had. Madison could also have mixed evening and day shifts in the same week or only one type in any working week. "Then lets play this by ear. If we can find a period of time after your working hours that lines up with the time I'm also free we might be able to have a girls night out. Madison noted the future apartment number in her phone under Mickie's name. Phone numbers could follow later on. Her own apartment wasn't as fancy as the ones ARI people tended to get but hers was sufficient for her and Mallory's needs. Feeling at home was more important. "I know that feeling. I left my last apartment behind to start my masters degree here and it took a while to feel at home in my current apartment. I'm sure I can think of something closer to the weekend if that helps you out" she replied. Life being the way it was you sometimes got what you wanted and you could be sure the weekend would come round. Which it did and a Saturday morning had lined up in their schedules. Mickie Reed |

Mickie was a morning person naturally and when the one that lined up with Madison came around she was happy. She had gotten good vibes between her and Madison which was always a good thing since the two had exchanged phone numbers a few days back. She decided to send Mallory a text at first instead of just going down to her apartment and showing up rudely.

Madison was an early riser anyway and she still was on evenings and late working hours for now. It meant she was doing her lessons under floodlights part of the time but she was getting used to that. So getting up at 6am she went to the gym first of all, then did her laundry before she had a chance to check her phone. So texting back : <How did he take it Mickie? Things are busy but good. Madison gave the matter some thought before she texted back to Mickie. Perhaps two ideas could be combined. <Girl, when life gives you lemons get some salt and tequila. I know where you can get shades and sight see. We could start at the mall and then I can show you around. Madison looked at her watch and figured then 10am would be a good time. They'd both have time to get ready and get there. <10am sounds good. So rolling onto 10am... Madison cycled up to the mall on her pink hybrid bike right on time looking casual but neat. A black wrap round mid length skirt with a yellow tank top and cycling helmet along with trainers made her look suitable for the heat and comfortable to wear. She also had on a backpack where she could store her helmet when she wasn't using it and it also doubled as her purse. They'd need to park her bike in the under ground car park before they really got going but she was already taking of her cycle helmet. Then she looked round for Mickie. Mickie Reed |
