Alice smiled back when Lynn introduced her herself and she did likewise once Clark gave his greetings. "Pleased to meet you Lynn. I'm Alice" she said finding she was nearly at the end of her glass too. Things were certainly building up and two had now become three. Things like this tended to happen at parties in general; even the fancy ones.
"Nice to meet you as well, Alice," Lynn replied, nodding at Clark a moment later. "so what do you think you'll get up too once you settled?"
"I think they've got me enrolled at the university with the music section there," Lynn said. It wasn't hyperbole; had she not accepted the Ashford offer to come to the Island, she'd be attending Washington University in St. Louis for a Bachelor of Music degree, a natural path for someone musically talented as she was. "I'll need to get another Champagne. Do you want another drink while I'm up there?" She was only being helpful but she might just uncork the chaos by doing what she offered.
After a moment, Lynn replied, "Yeah, sure, why not?" finishing the little bit left of her sparkling drink and fioguring why not; the night is still young...
