New years event (promistion was given)

The storm of the centenary had hit Ashford island hard many where either dead or missing at this point the world press had swormed the island since the storm tent citys had been set up for them to not scare the oddities that where here for new lives it was decided behind closed doors to do a new years party to try and cheer everybody up so the arms the hotel was asked to open a ball room for the event everyone was invited and was told to have a good time rumors had it Ethan Ashford the new island leader might stop by near the new year to start the new year off right with a speech Avery Ashford was rumored to also be coming the press where told not to come after ethans little spat with the press it was decided by the Ashfords to keep Ethan away from cameras and reporters for a while 

Adam was already at the ball room making sure everything was just right he hoped Cami Q.- Carter would come this might be his last night on the island for a while he still needed to get ethans thoughts on what he had sent him on what he was going to say to congress in the new year but tonight would be about getting everyone out and having a good time finely Adam thought everything looked great he looks at a suited staff member of the arms and nods "ok the sun is falling lets get this party started " the doors are opened to mark the opening of the first new years party 

Ooc: it has been decided by talking with clover in private this small event will be two weeks like always normal threads can keep going but with how big this might get use a tag of who you want to talk or do something with also with how short on time this event will have unlike are normal events keep this in mind on making plans also like always have fun here we go
