Alicia started out with good advice as Sophie listened. It did sound like there was more going on with boys than she realised. So she kept listening nodding when she noted something important. “So they learn eventually?” she posed. That explained why Jack and Eric seemed different now. Rebecca knew she might have to give her daughter the talk about boys sooner than she planned to. If she settled for girls that would be easier in the long term. "There's things I'll have to tell you later on but for now keep up the school work, have fun and look cute. And try not to overdo the orphanage work" she advised. I regret not enjoying being a kid for as long as I could but I think that is something we don't realize we did not do until we are an adult and by then it's too late." As for the orphanage. “I’m already getting help with the baking but I will try to not overdo things” Sophie replied. At least she could teach others some of the things she was doing. Then they could carry on her projects once she grew up. That did seem a long time away all the same. It also seemed to be the end of dinner but she’d be back some other time.
