"You always did seem like you were able to balance both work and play. I am sure that has shown a lot since you are a man and Ethan," she said as she put her arm around him. "I can not believe that we are here and are able to see each other again," she said. "I have a lot of news to share with you, perhaps I can share it with you while you show me around?" As she still sat under the table, still invisible she listened annd she sighed quietly. She knew that Ethan was a different person now but still hearing about his past, sometimes it was like having a dagger put into your heart. She took a second to move around them and out of the room and once she was out, she felt herself become more visible as she quickly gathered some clothes and slipped into them. I smiled as I returned her hug and picked her up off the ground just a few issues. Squeezing her tight, her embrace was secure and happy. It reminded me of days that were a lot less stressful. After a few second embrace I laid her down and spoke again
"I always, always have time for you Artemis. Let's get out of here and I will show you around,"
I grabbed her hand and pulled her out the door and into the bigger offices "Would you like to see your office? Or something else? I could show you the labs but I mean your a detective do you even care about that,"

Avery was just now about to start her work when she looked up and seen Cami. "I mean women do work here Cami. We believe in equality of all sorts but as for the rest no." She took a second because she had learned long ago how to control her emotions or at the very least she liked to think that she did know how to as she smiled a second. "Everyone has a past Cami and i mean the position that you are in, well it's not exactly like you can be properly judging someone. I am not saying that to be mean I am simply saying that to be honest and I hope that it is not hurting your feelings but if she is nice and if she is good at her job then that is what matters in the end." Artemis smiled. "That sounds good and no I do not want to see the labs. I mean unless you want me too," she said. "I am so glad to be here and you know what I want to let you know that I am getting married." She was excited about it. "We can call it a whirlwind romance if you want to know the truth. I plan to take or post plenty of pictures and send them to you," she said. "I mean I never thought that I would be the type to get married but he just gets me. Do you have that in your life?" There were times where regardless of if she should feel it or not, Cami honestly thought that Avery hated her. She did not understand why especially when it seemed everyone was getting what they wanted out of the little three way deal. "Well thanks for telling me exactly how you feel but I mean you knew the deal from the beginning so anything that you say is not really going to hurt my feelings." She also felt like she needed to start standing up for herself and the man that she loved more. "Ethan and I have something real but this is business, the new girl is a smoking bombshell, so you need to be cautious and I think that her and Ethan have a little history so that sucks as well." She was getting married?! Oh man that was great, me and Artemis had once had a romance but that was long behind us, she was however one of the few people I had been able to keep as a close friend. I gave her another big hug as I let my excitement show.
“When? Who is he? Why don’t you do it here? I can arrange it, we can through you and lucky mister whoever a giant wedding. I want to be part of it Artemis, we are friends after all. I need to meet this bum make sure he doesn’t hurt you,”
I paused as she spoke to me about deserving the world “I have something very special, and equally complicated. Its hard to explain honestly but when we have more time maybe I can try to, honestly I could use your advice in some of those areas,”

"I mean well I do not guess it came out like it should but if the girl is here the last thing that any of us needs to do is make it awkward. It would only hurt everything that we are after and that is the last thing that we want." Being at work was starting to suck so damn much and it did not help at all that her head was all over the place. This was very unlike her and she did dislike it a good bit. This was the one thing that she loved about Ethan, even as a friend. He was always so thinking. "Oh well yeah I will ask him about it but let me see, his name is Beau and he's so..well different!" she said exctiedly as she smiled. She was happy still and she also knew that it was fast but who truly cared because yolo! and that was life. "I think having it here since I am going to be an employee here soon is the best decision in the end anyway." She took a second to brush her hair back behind her ear and nodded. "Love is a lot, to take in and to build and everything around it as well," she said. "Anytime that you need advice you know that I will advise as best as I can in the end." I couldn't help but smile as she described her future husband, she seemed to glow. It was great that she was happy, I was never sure why we hadn't worked out but it just wasn't meant to be. Honestly I am pretty sure I was still hung up on Avery at the time, still I was so happy to see that she had found some one. She was nice enough to offer advice when she could and I smiled taking her hand in mine. Like little kids I tugged on her arm and nodded for her to follow me.
"I will show you the offices and such on the way up, I want to hear more about this Beau guy. I mean anyone who is going to marry you basically becomes family and I should have at least a little say,"
I paused in front of the offices and pointed to a large door in the back pulling her closer and giving her a shoulder hug "That big door will be your office, right down the hall from me so you can come gossip as much as you like,"

Avery took a second. "Well let's just go find them, I mean Ethan can do the introductions and I feel like we will be good. Besides we are going to all be working together so the next thing that we need to do is get to know her. She is not anything but another woman but that does not mean we have to be against her. You should also know that Ethan and I might be really trying to work things out now so that might be bad news for you." Artemis was always the 'over friendly' type even if that was not how she wanted to come across but with Ethan it came so easy since anyone could see just simply how attractive he was and that much did still exist within him. "Well it was super romantic and such and that girl, Adrianna or something like that I seen that you married her too. I bet that made your entire family proud," she said as they walked. "You got me a huge office," she said as she smiled at him and then hugged him.
