He had not seen or talked to Cami since his little time trip adventure, so he was honestly not aware of where she was. He also did not know how far what they had did in the little trip to the past would effect Cami since he now knew without a shadow of a doubt that she had to still be sourcing magic. He was guessing it was through the children but he still was not sure it did not have anything to do with Taylor either, but he was going to focus on his work for the project at hand this morning. "I also hope she will turn up" Madison said and at least they had something to start with; Cami's bloodwork and some data. They might just have to observe and see what happened; doing things the old fashioned way. They were near water but this was still work. She did not feel good at all, like at all but she knew she had to go to this so she took some nausea medicine, threw a little magic dust over her shoulder and hoped that by the time she got where everyone else was that she would feel better. Luckily she did as she seen them. "Hello," she said cautiously. "I thought that we would be in the research center," she said as she looked around again. "You should know I hate waiting, but your data came back inconclusive. Now that normally only happens with pregnancy but considering that also came back negative, I need you to sit in this water and let your powers do what they do so that Carter can take your blood and we can run it back at the lab. It's pretty simple really and as I promised as long as you do not do anything crazy and let me get my results you can go home this weekend, granted Taylor is the one who comes and checks you out." He was the type that if he was not asked about it he was not going to open his mouth so he simply nodded. "Hi Cami," he said as he smiled. He knew different information but how was she hiding it. He slightly shook his head as he went and squatted down beside her as he was keeping it together. "So how are you enjoying being in the program so far?" he asked since he figured it was best to make conversation. He was still slightly scared but he was going to go with the flow for now. "Excuse me and Cami just a second please," he said as he took her hand so that he could walk her away from Madison and Avery. Once they were out of ear shot he spoke. "How are you hiding this pregnancy?" He did not mind her hiding it, it was not that. He figured if anyone found out she was pregnant again they would blame Taylor so he understood why. Cami joined them and sat on the waters edge. Said her hello and asked what was wrong. As Avery explained what was going on Madison gave Cami a happy wave. She did take note that pregnancy had been wondered by Avery but that result was negative. If she had been on receiving end of having twin boys that would have put her off further children for life. However as she was getting married to Mallory the sperm bank would provide a solution if they did want to try themselves; not likely though. It did feel weird being on the other side of the desk given she had been part of medical trials herself but this was enjoyable and enlightening. She also felt like she was being useful. "Magic," she simply said to him. "If my results come back anything but good, I will not get home and if I do not get home, well," she was trying to think of how to word it. This weekend was going to be lit! "Look I can't stop sourcing magic," she whispered to him. "I tried, like I really tried but our husband boyfriend went daddy up and jetted away and every trace of Taylor's travels with using Star to protect him has, well it's like candy to me now. The sooner he stops fighting me on being a warlock, the sooner we can be happy and normal." She looked at him. He was about to fold, especially when Avery started yelling at him. "Be quiet Avery we are thinking," he said as he looked at her. "Yes we work for you but that does not give you the right to not give us a few minutes to get everything together." CONFIDENCE. He took a look around. "I just mean we are not going to take up much more of your precious time so if you could please just let us do our jobs it would be gratefully appreciated." Madison hoped they could make a start soon but the more relaxed things could feel the easier this would go. That was the same for any experiment or part of a project and Carter just wanted to get everything together. She walked up to Avery and quietly said as she backed Carter's approach to this "once everything is together things will run so much more smoothly. Give them those few minutes and we can make a start". Somethings she'd leave to Carter. She was still learning to be a scientist in a lab situation but her degree was also a science in its own right. She looked at the three of them. "Wow is it just me or is it super tense up in here right now?" she asked as she looked at Carter. That little shifty bastard seemed to be slightly different as she went and sat down in the water. She really needed to talk to Taylor about what had happened but she found herself able to relax as she went to go speak but decided to remain quiet. She gently put her hands and eventually palms into the water as she relaxed. "I have seen this type of tension before. It's the boss/coworker habitat. Carter, Avery, it's okay to be friends. She nodded towards Madison and she looked at Carter. Was this because of the children? Surely he knew better. Then again men seemed to act out when they did not get their way and it was such an unattractive trait. "Mr. Stratin," she said. "You know what never mind, let's just get this done so that our day can go on." He was hurting her feelings but she had business to run. She went over and stabbed Cami with two needles right in her hands. "It will only hurt a second," she said as she looked at her. "Now since you are not pregnant and things are still off, I can only think that perhaps you are experiencing a mutation. He took a minute and walked over so he could watch from a safe distance. He was going to trust Cami to be able to get out of this without revealing her pregnancy as he looked at her, then Madison, then Avery. "I actually don't know if Avery and I have ever been friends," he said honestly. That did bother him which showed. "I think that we never got that chance because I have a dick and let us be honest." CONFIDENCE! "She hates anything with one of those," he said as he had accepted it but still. "Shame really, considering all we share." He made his way back over to Cami and kneeled down in front of her. He was having no qualms about their closeness as he put his forehead against hers. Husband number two in waiting after all. Madison knew how to make her point understood since she had came here as a student and then a sports coach. She could still teach somebody the finer points of a backhand but you just had to get to the persons level and that rarely involved shouting. By now Cami was in the water and ready for the next stage. Madison was paying attention to what was being said and a mutation did happen but normally with humans took a mighty long time; then again they were different. So she paid attention and got on with the job. She didn't get as close as Carter did but was there for Cami as well. She did remark to her "I did put on my bikini so if you need help in the water I can join you". Carter was pretty close to being in the water too but as his assistant she could take that risk. "Carter, if you need me in the water just say so" she added in that quiet but meaningful voice. She knew what she was doing.
