Being in a lab got you a lab coat. Her science was in a completely different field but she was smart and could help out. The first task was to help Mickie do she could get her brother back. It was also another day she met a new team member. Tayla smiled and she shook the offered hand. "I look forward to working with you too Tayla" she replied sounding cheerful. Hearing Mickie was pregnant again was a bit of a surprise but she did say to her "congratulations Mickie. I hope it goes well". Perhaps they could talk more later on but she'd help just like last time out. She wondered if Avery was going to to have a larger part in this or would just leave them to it. "Well you guys don't really need me so I am going to go give my baby sitter an early break. Tayla has all the information and you guys can decide who leaves the work on my desk when you have the day's results. After shaking their hands she nodded. "Yes nice to meet the both of you two as well," she said as she looked at Avery. "Oh right yes mam," she said. No, if she put her information in the data base it might get weird and she did not need that at all. "Will do," she said as she turned back to the other two. "Okay so I can input data or stick needles which would you like to do, Madison right?" she said. A baby? "Oh my god, a baby. I love both of my parents so I hope that you and your baby and the father or mother are close and can have a happy and healthy home." She smiled. "One of my first memories will always be sitting at the dinner table and listening to my parents talk about their day. It was always numbers and work and work and numbers. She took a minute. "Do you know anyone on the island aside from the people you work with?" she asked. "Also please do be good at your job I need to get myself fixed so that I can get my brother back and thank you Madison. This baby is going to kick my body out of shape but that is fine."
She nodded. "Are your parents on the island?" she asked. "You look a little young to be here by yourself but you have a job so that is fine too I suppose."

Hearing what Mickie said to her she softly replied "if you need help just ask me". She totally meant it but getting Mickie to break the habit was paramount; it just wouldn't help her baby but would get her brother back. She heard what Tayla had to say; then what Mickie had to say to her. So that just left them to do this detox and initial medical check. By now they were close to gathering up what they would need to help Mickie. Mickie and Tayla got introduced and it seemed they could start. Then Mickie mentioned the harem; perhaps not a good idea as a lot of explanation was involved afterwards. Which neatly introduced Madison as she replied "he tried to put the sperm bank out of business you know" with a chuckle. Then she was asked to check Tayla's eyebrows. "Mickie, some girls can do things like this naturally" she added with a smile both to Tayla and Mickie but seeing Tayla got her thinking. She figured she was imagining this though. Little bits of her brother or Carter were there. It was hard to tell thought. So filing this away for now the work continued. "Lets get to work" she suggested in a light manner. She liked this Mickie girl as she listened as she looked between the two of them and smiled. "That I need to see to believe," she said. It had never crossed her mind that when Carter said things were different he might have meant she had siblings. She had siblings. She had siblings.. She noticed Madison looking at her and she spoke. "I just have one of those faces. You would not believe how much I get told that I look like this person or that person only for it to be truly awkward, excuse me one second." She turned and created a mini portal and jumped through it only to land back in this time right where she had been. "Oh forgot my power does not really work here," she said as she started running out of the building. Her phone dinged every time that an entry went into the data base so as she was about to pack up for the day she got a notification and looked it over. "What the hell?" she said as she got up and looked it over again. "How in the hell is someone who is not born until five years from now standing on my island and working for me? Also why is there no record of her fathers and who the fuck is her mother?" She calmly made her way down to the lab and cleared her throat. "I just got Tayla's data entry," she said. Tayla might not get far but she assumed Avery would alert the internal security people or somebody like them. So that led to the question after seeing something that shouldn't really be happening; then again she had seen a niece doing magic in New York and knew Jacob and Gillian were magical. Mia could do something special with spirits too. So given all that was going on with family line it was hard to surprise her anymore. Tayla had indeed legged it and Avery did have a question. Madison could think outside the box and calmly gave an answer. "I'm guessing time travel or similar and Tayla just legged it after going through what I'd call a portal and returning here. I've seen magic in action so could it be another oddity ability?" Infiltration? Okay now it was getting cool as she looked at Avery and listened to Madison. "I knew it was real," she said as she looked at Avery. "The magic I do not know nothing about that girl aside from whatever is on that sheet."
"Maybe she's here to find her mother?" She was so calm but she was also so excited but it did seem more magical considering what she had even seen her daughter start to do. "Avery someone brought that girl here and if you ask me you need to find out who. Also you gave her a job? What if she's trying to take your company down from the inside?"
She thought logical. "Or maybe, just maybe she is scared. I could see a place for both cases. If she is not born yet for another five years and she is here, wherever she is from I can not even imagine what she's seen. Do not be mad at this, take it for what it could be, science in the flesh. Are we not scientists is this not what we do?"
