There was no drama, only the chance to make a miracle happen and the truth was when Taylor had first approached her the idea was tricky but he reminded her of how Ethan was when they first met and she had no choice but to help him. Lab 2 was todays venue as Madison met with Avery and she followed her in. She supposed this was part of the survey Avery was planning on doing and figured the meeting would be smooth and simple. As she was more involved with business than coaching these days she wore skirt suits more often and hers was in a colour called wild berry. "Lab two is where we will start our project once you are back from your thing in new york. Your girlfriend is very insistant that you go but I did want you to see just a little bit of what it would be like. By the time you have returned I shall have the women lined up and I am going to be honest one of them is your sister in law? Estranged sister in law perhaps? I just did not want this to come as a surprise." "She is a perfect candidate actually and a lot of the women on the island seem to like her so they will follow her lead. It was good to know some of what she would be doing after New York. She hadn’t a timeframe for either until now but New York would be first. Then came the surprise that Cami would be involved. She’d been on that rollercoaster along with Mallory, Carter and Taylor and honestly felt like the one stuck in the middle. At least until Taylor knocked her out after Cami went crazy. Then steps would follow to get her help. “Thank you for that Avery. I’ve been involved with events since my brother arrived on the island chasing stars and seen how things finally came to a head. Carter needed help that day and women do need to express themselves. Thankfully I have Mallory to vent to; some don’t have that kind of person in their life”. Quite where events left Cami and Taylor she wasn’t still precisely sure. So added “I do know that Cami is still a good friend and I assist Mallory when it comes to baby sitting. "Nothing to thank me for. I have been through a lot and I am even trying to figure it out myself but this is the first time I will say I have ever done something for free. Of course it is my very first case of broken heart syndrome too, because yes Madison it is a real condition. Normally it's brought on by stressful situations and extreme emotions but it can also be triggered by a physical illness and surgery." She took a minute to fix her hair. "Not every woman, man, person is as strong as myself or even you which is why we are going to perform a miracle. You see I have it on good authority based on her little baby file that your little niece, the freaky one with the stars over her body can in fact help her mother. Isn't this exciting?! I get to do good with a baby and this is a hell of a break through for science. Of course this will require putting your brother and her in the same space first. I need to know that they are capable of talking without yelling and hitting and I mean she's already sneaking out to see him so what we are going to do is a little set up. Madison did talk to Amber from time to time now she was Avery's nanny. So knew a little about how the babies were getting on. So listened to the idea carefully as Avery explained it. The plan was simple enough so perhaps the venue was all they needed. She looked thoughtful as she considered everything she had heard; it was for science but would also help Cami. In fact the idea might not have even been conceived back home due to closed minds and hatred of the different people here. "So we need them to meet up first? The last time I seen Cami she was losing it and Taylor had to knock her out. He then mentioned her going for treatment but I don't know what happened after that. If they are talking as you say it is possible. We also need Star there as well. Is there a time when it will be too late to do this?" she posed quietly. "Pretty much," she said. "Hey do you like this color blue?" she said. "I was stuck between a darker blue shade and then this lighter one. I know that is a change in subject but color choices are important when conducting business." She took a pause and then went on. "I need to be taken serious when I stand up in front of the people and talk and perhaps this particular shade of blue is a bit too light but we will see." She thought. "Oh no there is no real rush on this. It has no expiration date if that is what you mean. Madison supposed she did like blue but tended to go for the darker shades. Beyond that she tended to avoid a lot of dark colours worn together but she could look like a business woman if she put her mind to it. “I like blue but you need some brightness in your colour palette for the dark colours to work. I was wondering if what Star could do had a time limit on it or not. There dosen’t seem to be. I find if you go light colours you need something dark to draw the attention back to you. It’s generally men you’re trying to deal with in a business setup and some are a lost cause. Even they want people to take them seriously but they have less options to do that” she replied. She listened as she finally stood up and noted Madison's suggestions. "All this color crap would be easier if your girlfriend was a party planner instead of a wedding planner because then I could just hire her to do it and call it a day, literally." She was mostly normal about holding it together but this was driving her a bit mad but she would get through it. "Okay if you will follow me to the left you can get a better view of the window that you and I will be standing behind when the women first start to talk before we introduce ourselves." Madison followed Avery to the window they would be observing from. Then they would reveal themselves later on. “So you still want to have that party we talked about?” she posed. She could kind of guess the rest of it down to the circle of chairs and some way of recording this for later analysis. Then she added “I can picture all of this in my head. It should work well”. “I suppose I am more of a part of ARI than I was before. I also know business when others may not. Maverick’s always has been a come as you want place but it can be just as showy if the mood takes a person” she mused. So she understood what Avery was on about. Knowing she was comfortable in a sexy dress also meant knowing others might not feel that way. “Doing it as two events works well. Madison liked the work she was doing. Planing a future for this community was daunting but she liked the challenge. She may only be influencing leisure facilities but she was part of the cogs of the company now. She nodded hearing this encouragement and knowing she could be doing more later on made her smile. It would mean leaving coaching behind but she would have a longer lever to work with if she took on management full time. “I would like to see how far this road could lead” she replied adding “the more that can be done at these events the better things will be”. "I do agree. Getting people together in a room is easy, getting those same people together to share ideas is the hard part. Oh Madison," she said. "There is also the pregnancy project, the last set of women to have babies off of that strange ripple water effect I will need to manage. So if you see some files about that lying around I will need them when we see one another." Her end goal was to make an island of super beings but that was years away.
