The first evening lesson had come and just finished. Then just like having to visit the receptionist after going to the dentist the next time was confirmed between them without having to change anything. Life being the way it was could change quickly. Largo was feeling sore after this. Mind you he hadn't played properly in years and he was effectively starting again. She nodded. "Well it's like, if you have ever seen the wizard of oz, the tin man was rusty but at the end of the day he still got what he needed from the wizard though that is a movie that I would never let my kid watch until they were at least twenty, it is so weird looking back at it as an adult." Largo had a feeling he knew what she meant. Studios did seem to get away with more then that they did now. Perhaps it was because they were subtle about it rather than trying to go all out with a message. Anyway he replied “movies were different then and they were more subtle about the messages in them than they are now. You live and learn and also try to keep an open mind”. Which didn’t mean you had to take on everything and all the ideas you did encounter. “Then I know a place beside the mall that is nice and relaxed” he suggested. "Yeah?" she said as she raised an eyebrow. He still seemed a bit was the word shy? It was the best way that she knew to word it but she was not going to press him for answers. If he was shy he could tell her in time though at the moment she figured they were simply friends getting to know each other. "Okay so in hearing that what is one thing you learned about yourself but only after you were divorced?" she asked. She nodded. Looking back at Ula he didn’t look shy. He was just a bit careful considering he’d been divorced and investing so much time in a marriage. He’d messed up once and really didn’t want to do that again. Then put another woman through that. “I learned that mistakes can be fixed. I hurt my wife and daughter by over working and not being there but now I have made progress to fix that” Largo replied. "Get on?" she said. "Wait, you mean you do not think we get along well?" She shook her head. "You do see it right? We are both kind of awkward as in adults who have spent way too much time around other adults in a big capacity that sometimes we go back and forth when it's just you and I, carefully thinking about what to say. "Ula I'm sure we do get on. I don't want to put somebody through what I did to my ex-wife and daughter" Largo replied. This was like trying to learn how to deal with other adults again after having only two ladies in his life for so long. Louisa and Estella. "We've both been through similar things and a failed marriage in common but damage can be fixed over time. Two damaged people might be able to figure out how to do that together. I also have to learn how to deal with other adults again after only having a wife for so long. So if it sounds awkward it sometimes is" he added being honest. She took a second to fix her hair because having a head full of hair on an island was a curse but she did listen to him. "Well I can teach you how to get along with other adults. I honestly find it a little simple if you just talk. As adults a lot of us do not want to hear ourselves talk we really want to learn about others we just do not always know how to say that." Ula knew more about this kind of thing than he did. Even in classes there felt like that barrier was in the way when he dealt with his students. Except for Yesa and Omar which might show improvement in that field. By now they could see the bar properly and it was fully lit up and shining brightly unlike the dark mall. “Here we are Ula. She did like bright lights as she took a second nod as she walked in and waited on him. "My hobbies," she said as she took a second. "Honestly when I was married I used to do exercises and fruit juice classes and fashion. The fashion stayed but divorced I find that I like just sailing. I know that sounds almost too on point being on an island but something about sailing out and just letting the day be is relaxing." Largo Vasquez |

Largo followed Ula in and then they headed to the bar. "I guess the fruit juice classes is how you know so much about smoothies then. I do a lot of diving not just as part of being an archeologist but also for pleasure. I also do black powder firearms shooting; at least in the state of Florida. It's quite calming you knowing it keeps old knowledge alive" he cheerfully replied. The diving kind of replaced the urge to do golf but he was in the ideal chance to do it here not only in warmer water but with more to look at under the waves. Ula W. Ravenmore |

"Were always learning Ula. Where you want to sit is up to you. They're all good spots" he suggested. Then added "its something I picked up from my father. In fact he gave me the firearms while I was at college. They're both modern reproductions but they work the old fashioned way needing black powder and percussion caps. He keeps his own set". Someday he might pass one onto Estella if she showed an interest in something other than fashion; that remained to be seen if she'd keep walking that path.
