He supposed he could be nice to Mallory, not that he had a problem with her she just seemed very abstract. "Cook for the date?" Oh. Well in truth he'd never dated it was just like do this and then do that and let everything else work itself out since he never seen them again. Hearing what Taylor had in mind Madison made a quick mental calculation. By the time she left her shopping back she'd still have time to do this before work. "I can meet you there. I'm also happy you realise that Taylor" she replied. Her brother was figuring things out and that was good. "So I'll meet you then". So an hour and a half later on she was at the mall waiting for her bother. She had her sports bag with her since she could get changed into her track and field gear once she got there. Along the way to meet Madison, he felt a bit parched so he stopped to get himself some water and noticed the tiny blue patches on his tongue that fell off into his water as he looked at it. "Whoa," he said as he threw the bottle into the recycling bin and finally made his way to the mall. Once he spotted Madison, he took a second to wipe his forehead and then waved. "Madison!" he said as he ran his hands through his hair. "So I need a uniform, maybe a hat. Kind of like an officer and gentlemen, but island like." He hated suits. Madison tried to not confuse the two movies. The other was the Top Gun but she had a feeling she knew what he was on about. "An officer and a gentleman was the all white affair but that's not a work suit. Let me think" she posed as she led him to the costume shop. He might spot something on his own and there were pre-made up costumes here as well as hire ones and hire items. "You'd have worn a suit and tie back home but that dosen't work so well here. So we can try something like the suit trousers with a boat captains hat and a tropical shirt. That is work wear for some people round here" he added. It was slightly embarrassing but he spoke again. "Yeah it seems Cami is into this, have you ever heard of Larping? Live action roleplaying apparently, so my general idea is to bring that in an essence to her. I feel bad that she's never got to one on the island so if I make that a date it would show that I care, though caring is brand new to me." The real kind of care. Madison considered all her brother had to say then spoke. "I have heard of it. It sounds kind of like cosplaying only you do more than just walk around. It's not that weird Taylor". Madison listened to her brother and he did seem to like the Maverick idea. He'd also seen weirder which meant he was adjusting to life in this weird place. That was good. "They might already have that as a pre-made costume" Madison happily replied. So they entered and as she knew Taylor's sizes she asked the girl at the front desk. She confirmed they did have Top Gun along with An Officer and a Gentleman knock off. He could still get what he wanted. So the shop girl went off to get these to show them Madison added "I start work in slightly over an hour. With the junior track and field course. Twenty children round age 12 started last week and it also gives their parents a break. That's going to be a two hour session and the usual private tutoring after that. After 1am I'm not too sure yet." She still might go somewhere else but that would depend on how tired she felt. Dr. Taylor Quinzell |
