 ———————————— Having just arrived upon the island, Darcy is just trying to get her bearings and make her new life. Darcy is ambitious and keeps her opinions to herself mostly. She has a lot of thoughts about being an Oddity and not understanding why she is the only one in her family with a ‘gift’. She hasn’t contacted anyone in her family in ten years. It was just easier to keep her distance and do her own thing. She put herself through medical school and did some light traveling before she slipped up on a trip and healed someone without thinking. She received notice from the hospital she was working at and decided to restart on the island where she could use her gift without being ostracized. She’s driven and hardworking, and her work is indeed her life. But she craves companionship and company, even if only in the form of a kindred spirit to have coffee with. She loves to read, and has a passion for volunteer work at clinics. In her free time she can be found checking out local museums and galleries, not skilled in art herself; but a big admirer. Darcy is a big fan of her ability -empathy healing- and will use it for even the smallest things just because she enjoys getting to fully embrace her gift. She believes anyone with an ability is fascinating. |

I've three people who might get on with Darcy if we can both come up with ideas.
Firstly there's Alice Seraphim. She works in the Ashford Security Services and would be a detective in any other part of the world. Also very young at 22 and also goes to the university part time. She's had quite a hard life but things are looking up. Sounds like she comes from Florida which was were she grew up.
Secondly I've Madison Quinzell. She's human and a tennis coach. She stayed after completing her masters degree in sports sciences and also has a girlfriend on the island. She's a New Yorker and always was different from others.
Lastly but not least I have David Lightfeather. He's a scientist in the Ashford Research Institute and orginates from the UK. He had to leave his hospital once a woman in black caught up with him so he'd understand what she went through.

We definitely can work out a few ways on interactions for any of your characters with Darcy! I could easily see her taking tennis lessons as a new hobby since she’s moved to the island, giving her a perfect way to meet Madison.
And I definitely think she and David would cross paths with their lines of work. Especially if he spends any amount of time in libraries for research materials. Darcy is a book lover and as a doctor, she’s fascinated by medical journals and such.
We might have to brainstorm a little further to find a way for Alice and Darcy to cross paths, but I’m game if you are!

I'm nihongaz on the discord so can take the brain storming there if you want. Darcy might run into David if she went to ARI. Oh and she could take up tennis and meet Madison that way.
I can start threads if you want and as we've just had a major event its likely Darcy was just as busy as David was. That was the invasion of the Mobots which we've just wrapped up.
