The Ashford Family has been big players in Research and Development for the government since the early 60s. They have typically been able to stay out of the spotlight however and not much is known about them, they are said to be collectively worth well over 300 billion dollars. None of the family are known to be oddities.
Theodore Ashford Sr.
Eldest living Member of the Ashford Family and founder of Ashford Isle. He has a great public image, and is very outgoing and friendly.
Gwyneth Ashford
Theodore's third wife and about 10 years younger, most seem to think she is a gold digger but she actually had her own fortune before getting married.
Theodore (Teddy) Ashford Jr.
The Eldest son of Theodore. He is ambitious and cold, he isn't very well received publicly and has been known to clash with his father. The son of Theodore's first wife Gretchen who passed away in a mysterious accident about 20 years ago.
Ethan Ashford
The Middle child of Theodore and generally overlooked. He seems very active within the community but not much is known about him to the general public. He is very charismatic however. He is the son of Theodore's second wife Catharine and said to be very close to her.
Teresa Ashford
Daddy's little girl, spoiled and rich and not afraid to flaunt it. As the youngest sibling she plays into every stereo type imaginable, her mother is also Catharine making her and Ethan full siblings.
Winston Ashford
The son of Theodore's late brother Simon. Winston was raised by Theodore, he is slightly older than Ethan and the two were said to be very close. He also seems to clash with Theodore Jr. Many say Teddy is jealous of him as his father likes him better. His father died in the same mysterious accident as Theodore's first wife. His mother is Catharine making him half siblings to Ethan and Teresa.
Catharine Ashford
Catharine first joined the Ashford family at then age of 19 by marrying Theodore's older brother Simon. Simon however died right after they had their first child (Winston) a few years later she would remarry Theodore. The two would stay married for many years and obtain vast wealth together before getting a divorce. She is mother to both Ethan and Teresa and very close with both boys, she clashes however with her daughter.
Elizabeth Ashford
The wife of Teddy, she is very meek but good with the press. He parents owned a chain of Hotels and she was said to be very vital in the construction and running of Ashford Arms. She is generally liked by the family despite her Husband's standing.
Avery Ashford
Avery is the daughter of old money and a brilliant mind. She is the most out of place in the Ashford crew, it is said her Marriage to Ethan may have been prearranged by the two families. Her and Ethan are rarely seen together despite them being married, many think its a shame.
