Sam was not used to her family getting together but she was not going to leave Lucas out to handle all of this by himself so she used her spare key and let herself in. She had left the kids with the babysitter. "Hi."

Gwen thought that a game night was a good idea. It kept people knowing that their family was important as she made her way inside and looked around.

Alice was getting the children organised but the finger food was ready. The board game was set up with all the little train tokens and cards already to go. He was actually looking forward to game night. It could be fun and plus it was nice to see all the roberts family in the same place especially since he felt like that hardly happened.

She understood when families could not gather but now that they were getting together and the thought of a board game she assumed it was interesting. Lucas as far as she had known was always quiet but maybe he was good at board games.

Lucas shook his head but even he could recognize this was good. Letting Ayden and Aurora to toddle around and mingle Alice brought the finger food out to the dining table; hopefully high enough for little hands to not reach just yet. Then she needed to organise Ticket to Ride; the board game of choice for tonight and also play referee if need be later on. Marc, Spencer, Heath and Ace had also joined them by now and she did ask Gwen if she could help her with the drinks first of all. "We got a case of beer, two bottles of wine and a non-alcoholic fruit punch made up. I just hope we have enough glasses" she said as she was continuing to be the hostess. "It won't be hard to set up the game. The small table will have enough room and when everyone is ready I'll explain the game and the rules. I won't be playing" she added.
