Nick believed in giving back and he was doing that by creating a bench for the outside of the orphanage. However he did not need any trouble so he had asked Alice to come down and chill while secretly doing patrol and trouble. Alice pulled up in her jeep having let Nick know she could do this. She’d just be a little late given the traffic this time of day. It would give her a chance to see how safe this children actually were but you couldn’t make this a prison if you wanted them to grow up. So spying Gwen who had gotten here first and was talking to Nick she walked over once she pulled over. “Nick, you never mentioned a body. She could agree with Nick’s concerns but there was a lot more going on than just Strife coming back to the world. The previous time it was Dr Mobius who had dealt with them and they’d done it themselves with OSE help this time. If there was going to be another time who knew what sort of help they’d have if any. “Anything we can do it improve things round here is good” she replied to Nick. Leaving Nick to speak with Gwen it was time to take off and have her look around. Somebody in a helicopter could do what she was about to do so it could also give her another perspective of the location as she knew to look up rather than just fight in two dimensions. She’d find out the details of security for herself later on but she could see the cameras and you could look out of windows to see what was going on outside. Having gotten a closer look at the active camera system it was time to land beside Gwen and Nick again. Her landing could be heard and sensed if one was close enough and then she tucked her wings slightly away by instinct. "From what I can see the cameras cover all the angles but the fences could do with some work. Chain link fences only get you so far" she mused. "Hopefully the security inside is up to the task". That was up to others who knew such things and what level they should be at. "I have a feeling we will have a lot more work to do to keep our island safe and free". “People are learning how to defend themselves. They know they have plenty to fight for especially once they’re parents” Alice mused. “We might have enough right now to repel an invasion but still need a militia long term. Like the National Guard work”. Armies hadn’t helped some of their neighbours but knowing the land would be another advantage they had. People just needed to be equipped to be able to fight and she did have an idea about that. Something to discuss with the FBI and Interpol as they dealt with seized weapons in different ways.
