Now that Jack had everything settled he had sent contact info to all his friends and any kids that wanted to show up for a nice day party at the orphanage. While they could not have alcohol there was still plenty of juice, tea, smoothies, and water choices.

Alice was invited but as usual she baked for this event. So with some help she wheeled in a large iced sponge cake and a jar of cookies. There was already enough drinks so she didn’t need to add to that. Then her assistants who were younger orphaned girls were free to enjoy the party once the cake was safely on the table. “Hey Jack. How are you?” she cheerfully asked. The group of girls were learning from her and they’d be doing some of the baking here as well. She did have to bear in mind she was doing more work for Avery that she couldn’t talk about yet but she’d still be the big sister here. If she could be creative in a kitchen aged eight others could as well. Jack P. J. |

She had helped with the balloons at least in design so she was here hoping everyone would have a fun time.

The gang was mostly here already. Perhaps the others would catch them up later. So pouring some tea for herself she replied to Jack “we all could do with a party and you are family to us”. Spying Sarah and Eric she picked up the tea cup and went over to see them now they were in the same general area. “I’ve been busy and creative” she added to Eric. “Shall I cut the cake?” she asked Sarah. So hearing what Sarah had to say Sophie cut enough sections of cake for all of them. Then balanced these paper plates on top of each other to move them over in one go. So handing out the first cuts of a home baked cake she replied "guys, there's the cake". Hopefully this party would work out better than the disaster her own birthday party had been. Then she turned to Eric and added "the dolls are going to take up more time now more people want them. I'll need to look into less customisation and do more refurbishment I think". “I tried something different this time. Honey instead of sugar” Sophie replied to Sarah. It was good to experiment with her baking. So with tea and cake in hand Eric was appreciating the cake as well. “This is a good place. I wasn’t sure about it when I came here but having you around did help how I healed” she replied to everybody present. Not just in body but in spirit as Jack was also part of that process. “I’m sure Gigi wasn’t too happy with us when I suggested us going to the West Slums and what happened after that but that was how we started.
