They had actually given her this medical van quite easily and she did need to make sure that these supplies got back so her hope was that nothing would happen but just in case she had brought three surgical knives as she was not waiting for Alice to meet her so they could get on the road and get back before island night. Alice had her usual pistol in a shoulder holster. If she’d been off duty it would have been that big 45 revolver in her purse she put to go use during the carnival attack but she was on duty so added a big knife to her police belt. A habit she’d picked up of Blythe but it also had her belt radio, hand cuffs and other police gear. She was a detective but was still equipped like a patrol cop. Alice knew what could usually happen round here. The chances of the van being robbed was minimal but you needed to keep an eye out for potential problems. The number one reason that she liked it here was because so far everything had went good and she hoped that would remain the case but she also knew you could not just bake on happiness. So going round to the back of the building was next as Alice also showed her badge. She not only held a Security Services badge but also an Ashford PD shield. You needed both at different times depending on the situations. So now allowed in and walking through the warehouse like building she knew what sort of battleground places like this could be. Her aunt pointed out their specific container and it contents were loaded up on cages ready for pushing to their van. "I am hopeful but when I grew up with you I learned about doing ones duty to the nation and our values. The foundations are solid but political leadership is lacking. Even the UN is close to being useless so as both can't even defend homo sapiens in need how can they protect our own kind". “We’re clearly going to have to deal with Strife ourselves and I also include the OSE people here. They are as much targets as we are. So we need an army and fast as we might even need to defend the region not just our island” Alice replied. Some help might come from others so she addressed that possibility. “That might be the case as I’m sure others see the need and the US dosen’t look like it’ll do anything. So much for them lending us a hose pipe to fight a fire” she mused. Clearly her time in Florida had been educational as she seen the way an army base and the national guard worked. Aylice |

“The ones I deal with don’t give much details away but their job is just as dangerous as mine is. So they understand what this nation stands for even if they’re not officially part of it” Alice replied. The bad reputation didn’t help but she added “some of them will be able to help us more directly if we can identify a case that falls in their responsibilities. I tend to deal with them when it comes to extradition cases but we did work together to fight Strife when the attack came”. That left some goodwill to work with in the future.
