He nodded. "I do know that one's dream job is never going to be how they start out but I am leaning more and more towards being a james bond type only you know without the flashy cars and all the women and drinks. Maybe get knee down in some cases and catch people who are really here for the non better of the island but until then at least I am working on friends which is good too." David Lightfeather

David smiled a little hearing about James Bond. Then sipped his beer again. “Ian Fleming was involved in the Special Operations Executive and he did base Mr Bond on agents he dealt with. No spy is that flashy but all those people he knew worked behind enemy lines and in the shadows. That’s what a good secret agent really does and few know what they do. Anyway we can both play our part to keep the island safe. I’m more likely to be in Q branch if you follow the spy logic” he replied. Yet he did have the abilities to fight as well. Oliver Dougard

"I do imagine it would be easier to blend in if no one suspected you at all," he said honestly. It was becoming easier for him to be more honest in his day to day which he found good. "That actually makes sense now if spy stuff starts to go down, I know who to come too." David Lightfeather

David shook his head chuckling slightly. "You'll need the OSE version of Q Branch unless the Ashford's let your people use ARI" he replied. He wasn't even sure if that would ever happen but help to an ally might be possible. "The need for spies didn't die out with the end of the cold war; the aftermath just increased the threats to the world" he added. It wasn't just the reaction to oddity kind being revealed either. Humanities self destructive nature hadn't changed and nations and groups still couldn't live in peace. Oliver Dougard

"It's definitely something that I am going to look into for a just in case. It could very possibly never lead to anything but I guess it's a fun idea to play with. Also with me still being on the newer side I do not want to dig too much and stumble into anything that I need to not know as well." David Lightfeather

"When you need to know something you get told it. Its the same in any job" David replied. That was always the case. "Not every job is a bundle of fun but you can still make it enjoyable". That was another truth about life. Being a parent was a job as well as so far that had been eventful. Oliver Dougard

"I am looking for the enjoyable moments in my job. I know that sometimes it won't always be like that and I am also not against the do not ask do not tell policy. I don't want to know anymore than I have to at least as far as work goes. Life outside of work is naturally different of course." David Lightfeather

“That sounds very sensible to me. I part own a yacht so that’s a new thing to learn and enjoy” David replied. He was enjoying what one could get up to round here. A lot more than could do before now. Oliver Dougard

"I'm glad that we are friends," he said. "I mean I never thought it would be extremely hard to make friends but sometimes even if not hard it can take a while." He shook his head. "What made you say let me own a yacht?" That was curious. "I mean the water naturally but yeah a good buy I am assuming?" David Lightfeather

“Another friend of mine owns the other half of it but I could suggest you could use it from time to time. It’s like buying a camper van only you take it out on the water. So you cut out the middle man when you want to go fishing or just go sailing. You need to know how to read sea charts and how to sail a course. It’s not hard to do that” David replied. It was simple enough to buy your own boat given the market prices weren’t going through the roof. Back home a purchase like this would have cost him a lot more. Oliver Dougard

"Seems like it would be almost required sometimes," he said. "Just considering what we live around but if not that could also be understandable." He always tried to see things in a good light it just came mostly natural to him. "I was thinking about going out one night to see what the night life is like, have you did that while you are here?" "You do need a boat at times living on an island. The other plus point being you could sail to a neighbouring nation. Not a good idea right now given what the Chinese navy are up to in the region but perhaps for later. I have gone out for the night here. On several occasions but it depends what you want to do. How fancy do you want to go for starters?" he replied. Oliver Dougard

"Yeah the last thing that I want to do is to get caught up in anything that would be bad for me or the island honestly. I think it's actually pretty smart not to just jump into situations with a little knowledge if you can help it." He took a sip of his drink and thought. "Maybe drinks but keep it at a minimum so we can be aware of what is going on at all times in case anything fishy starts to happen or maybe dirt biking. I will have to see if I can find a dry path for that but that might be easier than it sounds." David Lightfeather

"The safe option would be a movie and drinks. The multiplex in the top floor of the mall would fit that bill" David suggested for starters. "As long as you avoid the slums you should be fine for bars but the west slum does have a nightclub in it" he added as you not only risked being pick pocketed round there but also worse fates. "It might be better if I go with you the first time so you get to know your way around" he suggested. Probally a wise precaution if you stumbled from the old town into the fringes of the slums. "Are the slums really that bad? I mean I assumed so because a lot of the cases that the ose has that are there are marked with a red sign which I thought to myself meant dangerous or at the least danger that needed to be looked out for but as far as outside work activity, should be able to easily avoid them."
