It really did not take him too long to set up inspection on this boat, and now it was family safe which he did like and he had invited David, Peyton and Decipher along with the kids to come out and see it and he hoped they were ready to cruise too. Things had calmed down all over again and this was their boat. David and Graysen were joint owners and this would effectively be their camper van. So arriving with Peyton and Ella on this nice day. What Decipher would think about being dragged out on a coastal cruise would remain to be seen but when you lived on a tropical island you might as well take full advantage of it. They’d just need to make sure of the weather forecast as it was the back end of the hurricane season and that could disrupt local weather patterns. He knew Ella liked boats. She’d been about a mini cruise just after her birth and she’d looked round on deck when they’d first seen the possibilities in this craft. She had fooled herself into thinking that her and Graysen could share hobbies because they loved one another but then he told her about this fishing trip and with the kids too and she knew in that moment that she did love him but their hobbies would never intersect, ever after this.
She was not even going to fuss but she damn sure was not going to fish either if she was expected to do that. She was simply going to come dressed for the weather and speak to their friends from the baseball game.

Peyton did not mind getting out and she was putting what small fear she did have behind her at the moment to enjoy a family outing with friends. She had thought just a little bit ahead to bring things like suntan lotion and things of that nature for both the adults and the kids. Keep safe while having fun. Plus she was always super excited when David bought things for himself that the family could enjoy. He knew that for Decipher this was "out of her league" but he also hoped she would just enjoy it or at the least not complain about the heat he would consider that a win too. Leaving the family car parked just outside the marina it was easier to carry Ella and let her see all around her. They needed something like this given their busy working lives but if one just wanted to lie back and catch some rays that was totally fine. He also carried the cooler box with sodas and pasta salads for later on. It was Peyton who remembered the practical things like sunscreen and checking the list twice. So he loved doing things like this for her. Now they were all together and boarded he didn’t notice the autopilot during his first looked over the boat but he hadn’t been looking for it he supposed. You’d still need to steer from time to time. “We can all chill out today. I made up pasta salads, Peyton picked up the sodas so lunch is covered and there’s toddler food there as well” he replied in agreement. Already Ella was looking round curiously. She made herself comfortable as she could and shook her head as she spoke. "It's nice to see you guys," she said. She was getting feelings of ick though but she would see this through because that was what you did when you loved someone even if you did not understand how at times.

Peyton always was super organised. David knew that and she'd also packed the sunscreen for them. "It's always good to meet up like this. I'll get Ella ready below decks" he said and there was a baby swimsuit under her dress. Add a hat and sunscreen and she'd be all set. He also left the cool box in the galley so whoever wanted a smoothie could make one. So returning with a happy toddler ready to play with Diana this did look good. Kids were a delight and even though she was Fabolous most people would not know it but Decipher was an okay mom, would she be one of those overbearing pageant moms at the end of the day probably. She picked up Diana and spoke. "This somehow is not as bad as I thought it would be," she said but that was not a compliment it simply meant that she had not found something that she could complain about quite yet.

It was calmer than the whole incident at the carnival but even Peyton was not letting that bother her too much. She had a lot of good things going right now and she planned for them to stay that way. Seeing his little girl explore above decks made David smile. He has seen the forecast and it was ideal for a boat trip but you could get heavier seas further out. “Let’s do that. We can use the little engine to get out off the marina and then start in deeper waters where the wind can take over”. He was curious to how this would work but if they had to sail manually so be it. Her entire time on the island had been rather peaceful, well no being pregnant had been miserable but other than that it was pretty nice and now things seemed to be once again looking up in the friend department. She did listen. "Is it possible to fish while we are out here?" She still did not have an interest in it but why not ask to see.
