His sadness had never felt like this, his mind could not stay on anything else which was so bad because he had to finish that strand and finish the process to get Carter back alive but why? What was the point as he walked into the room. "Come on Cuddles," he said. "We need to go for our jog," he said as he had tried to push his emotions to the side so that he could focus and he took a seat on the bed. "Maybe tomorrow," he said as he laid down on the bed and began to cry.

"Come hug me cuddles, I'm so sad and blue." He was not ready, he could not focus. "Tomorrow's a new day," he said as he pulled the cover up above his head. "I'm so lonely," he said. "I can't focus." Why did he miss him so much? Simple, because he had failed him. Time had not been kind and given him the months it had promised. However the lesson here is to never give up, simply work through. "So much I did not say Cuddles, so much we did not do."

Like the song, the song. He slowly sat up and made his way out followed by Cuddles as he took a seat by the piano. "You don't get it Cuddles, I miss him so much and I am not sure if I can get through this. I just wish he was here instead of in the hospital, I wish I could see him and he see me and he tell me that it is okay. Tell me in the end that I can get through what I don't know and what I do not understand."

That was love right? To be there for the one who never knew why you were there to simply know that the key to happiness was simply seeing you.

He walked by the apartment and he spotted the dog and hissed and hissed until the chase. Gio loved to be chased but this had a bigger purpose though he had no idea who this man was yet, there was something about this man that looked familiar to him and then he realized this was his person's father but he felt sad and the only way to get out of that was to move even if you did not want to.

He understood why he would want to be sad but why be sad when you could still do the right thing he just needed Taylor to see that. So the chase he guessed that was the lesson of today and that was fine with him. Don't run from it but run to it. Run towards everything that you have put in the work for and fix it while there is still time. He watched him take off running and he followed him.

The magic made it easier those traces that Taylor left behind as he watched him chase after cuddles and he knew that he had made the right decision making his kids force that dog on Taylor as he went and stood a few feet away from Taylor and braced himself though he knew he would not be able to feel him, he just wanted to know that Taylor could run to something and not always away from it. "Come on Taylor, run to me and save me because I deserve that and I know you know that."

He knew it was asking a lot of Taylor, asking him to put his emotions aside to save him but he also knew he believed that he could do it. "If you save me, if you want to save me then I will walk through this life with you and Cami, I just need to know that you will no longer run from the hard times."

The hard times were just beginning, they had still had to get every kid back or adjust to every kid being here. That was no task for one person to take on but Carter had realized that. It needed to be a village but the village had to be on the same wavelength. "Cuddles," he said as he tried to whistle to get the dog's attention and failed and he sighed. "I need my body back," he said as he felt a slight wave of frustration.

He looked down at the water surrounding Taylor and he watched. It really was magic but more than that emotion was coming through, true emotion that did not need any walls or words at the end of the day. All things that mattered underneath all the loud noise and everything. "I know and I know you are going to make it in time, look at this."

He was surprised. "Sorry about the cat but I had no other way to get you out of that apartment though we can have conversations in there too I think. It felt really cold Taylor, not a good place for you to be right now." He had read up on magic a little because of Gillian and Jacob. "Can we hang out or is that too much to ask, also need you to stop crying it's a lot of water."

He carefully took a seat and listened. "Because I am scared. I mean I try to hide it Taylor and it is not my lack of faith and hope in you but it is scary knowing I am sick but it is curable so that is what I am holding onto but watching all of you and seeing what is going on, just makes me want to be back."

He tried to lean on him and he watched the water it seemed so still but was still keeping them apart. "So that just leaves violet right? You're so close," he said. He needed him to see this through. "Look I do not want you to feel any pressure but Taylor, I need you to see this through. I guess I never wanted to say those words because I have seen you scatter at the smallest of things that something this big the last thing I want you to do is scare you. I know what that is like what it is to be scared and know nothing you do changes it but this, you can change this." He shook his head and that was the first time he, himself seen the color. "You know what I think this is a first for us. A man of magic and me."

He was proud beyond measure and words. "By the way thanks for running to me. I always think you are going to run away and every time I think I know you; you surprise me Taylor. Guess that's why I love you." First times. "I love you so maybe if it gets to a point where you are scared maybe knowing that will push you through to the rest of the way. Don't know if I have ever thought it could be like this yet here it is so for that I know even at your lowest you are going to do this."

He was worried though for he could see things in Taylor that he had not seen before. He wanted to talk about it but would he just lie? Would he cover it up just to not have people worry. "Can you remove you from your physical self via magic?"

"Hm?" she said as she felt a shift. "Oh my dads are doing something," she said as she lifted up her hand and noticed the date and time. "Right on time actually," she said as she sat in front of her crystal balls. Tayla may have went just a little quiet but she was enjoying her time a bit more than she had when she first got here. "Protect them," she said as she looked over them. "Yay go daddies," she said excitedly though she knew messing with spirit magic was extremely dangerous.



"Daddy, I can't hold it but for ten minutes so make it count and this will be pulling at both of your physical forms," Man, she did love, well love.
