"I can say that being a parent has changed my life and made my work ethic a bit more surprised than I originally thought it would be. Looking at my son and knowing that we are always going to have what we need because of contributions," she said as she pulled up a small bone. "Got to love that." ' She did not think she was the logical have a kid type considering she had married a guy she barely knew but it still did have it's points. She took a second to pull out a few waters for them if they wanted them. "Do not dehydrate it seems hotter out here than it was before." She took a second to look at what had been found. "We can take it back in a bit and see if anything comes up on it." Lucas RobertsDavid Lightfeather

He looked over everything and took a minute because he did not want to miss anything. "Yeah I would say something did lurk here before the island and probably even times before that just no one has cared enough to look at it until now." David LightfeatherArtemis Fuller

"Thank you Artemis" David replied accepting the bottle of water. By now he's taken more soil of the area and hadn't hit bones just yet though she had. So far he a a US coin from 1802 which showed somebody from that part of the world had been here round that period of time or any period up to fifty years beyond its minting. "There's this guy in the university who knows more about this history of this island. Professor Vasquez is also an archeologist and I've seen his articles in the university website. Its interesting because he has a theory what we know as the old town today is only between 200 and 300 years old. The slums themselves are only a century old going by the buildings themselves according to him. He also said he found a set of graves on the trail while the university was doing what we are doing now" he suggested. "That still leaves a huge gap between the end of the dinosaurs and the sinking of that pirate ship. So something was certainly here". Lucas RobertsArtemis Fuller

She did take a few minutes to pull her hair out of her face. "So do you think that someone just stopped as far as the missing pieces of time go or do you think that someone did not have the chance to record the time?" She asked David even as she looked at Lucas. "I know we do research work but do you guys see things like this we are missing? I mean I do not know what or even if it truly means anything but it is interesting to say the least. We should probably do a diving excursion after we see what else we can find here." He took a second making sure to do his best to take it in. "It seems to make more than perfect sense to me that the both of them would be connected as well or at the very least maybe one had an impact on the other but we please let us be careful as we all have children now we need to be extra cautious not that we are not as it is." Artemis had a question and Lucas expressed his point of view while they had a break and cold water. "I'm not a historian but history and science share the same techniques. Being from the UK I know the value of history but there's times even in my country were things weren't recorded or the information was lost. It sounds like it was a bit of both for the past few centuries on this island. However the other parts of the region do have records going back to the age of discovery in the 15th century. It would make a decent personal project if I could piece some more things together" he replied. So when Artemis made a suggestion about a diving excursion this could just be for pleasure. "That sounds like a good idea. The coast lines would have changed since the days of the dinosaurs. We could have been linked to the mainland at some point and only became an island when the sea levels rose. So could there be dinosaur remains further out off shore? It would be fun to find out and we might even find something else out there" she added looking to Artemis. Now Lucas had concerns. "Off course we'll be careful. But we all see whats possible. The question being what happened here while the rest of our neighbours were being colonised by other European powers. There still might be some evidence out there". They all had pictures of babies on their desks with Lucas having twins. So had motivations to come back from a trip in one piece. Lucas RobertsArtemis Fuller

"I do understand you being cautious but we are here to make change," she said as she nodded. "We are always thinking about what needs to be done and not doing anything bad just progressive besides Avery is on my ass about getting an update and this is, well I hope that this is enough to please her. She scares me but this is also a chance for all three of us to make history and who does not want that." Lucas RobertsDavid Lightfeather

"I would love to make history," he said. "That is the easy part for me to admit, and you know what it sucks if she is on you. She has to know that time and research take time but sometimes people forget things do happen but no worries we are working on it now and that is what matters the most." You didn't want the boss on your back but they'd been off at slightly different times having children. Now they could get the project back on track and see what there was to find. "I'd like to make history as well. It's also the same when management gets involved anywhere" he replied before taking another drink and carefully picking of the next layer of soil. If somebody could lose a coin that came from the early USA here they might find more like that. He finally found a bone now he was was two foot down and paused to give it a close look. It was a long bone that he carefully picked out of the soil but he showed it to the others to get an opinion. Perhaps a leg but of what? Artemis FullerLucas Roberts

"When i first started working for ARI, the truth was that I did not know what kind of research I would get into and even more than that I did not know what I expected from the company but since I have worked there and seen some of the difference that it can make it makes me even prouder to be an employee," she said as she finished her water. "A lot of what we need and what we want to do is always going to bring change but if we are the ones bringing it then we can be a driving force for good or so I hope." She took a minute and made her way over. "What is that?" she asked David. Lucas RobertsDavid Lightfeather

He made his way over. "Fully agree," he said as he looked. "Should we attempt to pull it out more?" he was at times a little too curious but at the same time he needed to know once something was discovered. "History is always being made something I am sure all three of us already know." David LightfeatherArtemis Fuller

It wasn't completely clear so David used the tip of a trowel for the fine operation to loosen the bone further. He remembered the skeleton that hung in the science lab of his old secondary school and keeping that image in his mind tried to place where it could fit in a human body. He figured a human skeleton looked like the best guess for now but it being in an area where you'd also find dinosaur bones might muddy the waters. "I'm not entirely sure but this could be a human bone. It's two foot down so looks like its from a different period of time from what we're looking for. There might be more of this if we expand this square" he mused. Artemis FullerLucas Roberts

She knew that discoveries seemed to be everywhere but seeing it still did something to her. She knew that was the science nerd in her but she did not mind it plus it gave her something to talk about and that really did make her happy. "A what?" She knew he said human she just went blank for a second. "So someone dropped a body here or someone covered up a body here?"It was creepy either way but also interesting. "Murder?" she asked as she still looked. Lucas RobertsDavid Lightfeather

He made his way over upon hearing what was said and he took a second trying to make sure that he had heard it right. "Oh no," he said. "Is there more body there?" he asked as he took a second and looked into the ground. His curiousness was going to hurt him one of these days. "How long do you think that it has been there?" Ideas were being mooted and a murder was a possibility. How long the body had been down in the ground was another matter. “It could have been a murder but I can’t yet tell how long it’s been buried. Remember this ground hadn’t been disturbed before we got here. So it can’t be recent. I did grow up in a farming community and the top level of grass and top soil is solid if it’s been connected for a while. As if there is more of a body we can find out. Taking the top of the next six feet or so means we can dig down to the same level as the leg bone” he suggested calmly. To get to the dinosaur bones they needed to figure this out first. “I wonder if that coin belongs to the same time period as the body?” He pointed out three feet from the bone going one direction and three feet the opposite direction. Burials usually were done the same way with a body stretched out. So he started by switching back to his spade to take the turf off the top both directions. That marked out the new digging area in a spot that suddenly had gotten more interesting. Lucas RobertsArtemis Fuller
