She felt tired but she had finally found the hotel room as she knocked on the door. There was a lot to pack into this New York trip and she was returning from showing Mallory round Brooklyn. That meant going by train and even in early fall it still felt warm and sticky. So the subway was crowded and unpleasant and she wanted to sit down and relax with her baby now she'd done this; well more than sit down as they still had a bit of time before dinner. So rounding the corner she spied a fallen figure in the hotel lobby. A closer look brought recognition and the need for action. With her extra strength she helped Mickie to her feet through she was still out of it. Looking to Mallory she wondered why Mickie was here? "Mickie? Was this bitch drunk? Was this bitch crazy? Perhaps jet lagged? It was so hard to tell and here she simply thought that the antics remained on the island and yet here they seemed to be popping up in New York. By the sound of it she clearly wasn't looking for Cami. Madison looked slightly surprised Mickie was looking for them and answered the question in a soft voice. "It's had its good and not so parts so far. Brooklyn was energetic but the subway was as bad as I remembered it. If you ever played the game 'sardines' you'll know what I mean". It was gross with quite a mix of odours and little air circulation going on. So she was glad to get off the train. "So now you have found us what d you need to talk about?" she posed. Mickie straightened herself up and spoke. "This is going to sound strange but okay so Cami had taken us all out on one of those ships and I was only slightly drunk but from what I remember Mia healed her right in the water." She took a second and then went on. "I think when she healed Cami, it did something to Mia."
She thought more as she knew that they needed more details. "Ever since then Mia is pulling away from me as in always wants to go see and hang out with Taylor. They are doing a daddy daughter music project which is fine but Mia keeps saying it's to calm the ghosts in her daddy's apartment." She sounded disturbed but also like she truly believed something was wrong.
"That's not the worse part. Mia talks about how she can see future her when she is near the water. Also Taylor is always jet setting off with her and taking her by waterfalls and not just her but all of his kids. It makes us as the mothers wrong if we say no but I do believe that when Mia healed Cami, and Cami was in that water, that Cami has done something to not only my child but all of Taylor's children."
She shook her head. "I need a drink do you guys have any of those little liquor bottles?" She then went on. "Taylor keeps talking about some program that Avery is doing and that I should go since it's like a rehab which is fine I do admit i need that but he kept saying that Cami is in this same program and I am like okay so what? I basically think that when Cami put us on that ship, she used something to enhance Taylor's bond using my kid and all the other mothers kids and so when Taylor spends time with them near water it is doing something. Taylor got real fatherly really quick which is great but I think Cami is controlling it. I don't think Taylor fixed anything with her or if he did, she put it in his children or on him so she is fixed but the bond or the need to be around his children is driving something in the children that we share with him."
She was so lost as far as how strange this sounded. "I think Cami was using magic because she put this protection spell around the kids when they were on the ship and I now think that the magic is spread through Taylor's kids but I think Taylor does not know because I think Cami agreed to go in the rehab program knowing that she had protected Taylor and knowing that us mothers wanted him to spend more time with the kids and so while Cami is rehabing Taylor is daddy do good and that our children are the magic." She was so worried about this. "I don't think Taylor stopped her from using magic at all, I think she just spread it to his kids because she knew he would ask her to go to rehab, she knew he would agree, she knew we wanted Taylor to spend more time with his kids, and now she looks like she stopped using magic when she just simply put the magic somewhere else because Taylor has a bond with his children and she no longer needs him bonded with just her."
She sounded insane to the maximum. "I think she protected Taylor and in doing so pushed on his feelings to want to be a good father and so he is doing that all the while not knowing that he is constantly around magic because she put it in the most innocent thing a person could, a parent's child." She looked at them. "Taylor has access to magic, not Cami. I think she shifted it to him and I think he has no idea because he just feels like spending all of this time with his children which is real but I think the magic enhances it and thus the magic he has seen or been around is enhanced but Taylor has no idea how to access it, so we need to make sure it stays that way without telling him and we obviously can not tell Cami either."
She really did need that drink. "I think when he gave her, his heart because apparently he did, did you guys know that? Fuck I did not, but I think she's been literally messing with his heart via his own good will for wanting to save her. Like who does that to a man who gives you his heart to save you because apparently she almost died too and Taylor saved her! What Mickie did say did sound particularly crazy even for the island they lived on. So it wasn't just two magical children anymore. Mia looked like she was going to be a magical girl as well. Also given Taylor and herself were human plus and those abilities had developed on the island made what Mickie said plausible at least. Taylor sounded like he might need help as well. And this was on top on Mallory and herself knowing they wanted to get married. "I think we've got something to sort out" she said to Mallory. Not just their own wedding plans. She literally looked at Mickie as if she were stupid. "Not possible," she said. "That is some heavy level witchcraft and Cami is my friend and if my friend was that deep into witchcraft I would know. I have known Cami for a long time, I know her better than you and she is not that deep into the witchcraft." For fucks sake. "I will say that when she was here earlier she was really sick, lots of throwing up, so it's possible if anything all that time in the water has her body going through some weird stuff but you sound like a loon," she said. "You chose to lay in the bed with Taylor so if your daughter is being strange that is for you and Taylor to figure out. When Madison fostered Eric she did say she'd do it for as long as it took. If Mickie was going backwards she could loose him to social services and that meant even loosing the arangement she had right now. Still she was sure that this sounded somewhat plausible. So after hearing what was said she added to it. "Mallory, perhaps some of this is at least plausible. The magic might also be working through Taylor and we already know of Jacob and Gillian who are magical. Could it be rubbing of on Mia too?" she posed before turning to Mickie. "Mickie, I believe you can get through this and come out the other end. Eric is doing well overall and he does have good solid friends from the orphanage. This was so crazy she thought as she opened the hotel room door. "Get in here if you want to talk about it," she said. This was not talking that they needed to be speaking about in public lobby areas. Still she felt weird discussing it period but she would entertain this idea as she fixed Mickie some water. "Let's get one thing straight. I don't believe in magic so I am taking this very lightly but I do know unexplained things happen. We did make a crater." Fuck she did not want to deal with magic. "Magic is dangerous and it would esentially make Cami a witch." Ughhh. "If Taylor is effected, we need to find out if he knows. We need to find out if it is indeed all ten kids also which is a job in itself, or nine since you seem to know Mia, well seven since Jacob and Gillian, and we also need to find out if Carter knows." Why was it so much. She handed Mickie a glass of water. "If Mickie is right, that means Taylor has the essentials to be a warlock since that is just a male witch. I'm going out on a limb and saying that I do agree with Mickie about Cami playing it up to get in Avery's program. I just do not know why." "I think we are safe at a point right now. If this is true and Cami is still messing with magic, as long as she does not have sex with Taylor we are fine. Taylor promised me he was done with sex until he became a better father so this should give us time to see if he's weird or if maybe just maybe he's being normal and it just looks weird." She took the glass of water and nodded. "I think we should just ask Taylor. If he does not know it is okay and if he does know then we know that he's helping her though the way it sounds he has no idea." Love was going to kill that man.

Given what weird things she'd seen including the crater Mickie and Mallory had made and even seeing a dead Avery copy she wouldn't rule anything out. Having heard in detail what Mallory was thinking she added "I know it sounds strange but we do seem to have a clear picture of what is going on. Or possibly happening at least". So now inside their hotel room and trying to figure this out she also heard that Mickie was going on the programme that Madison would be helping in. Why oh why couldn't Taylor and Cami keep their deep attraction and lust for one another to the bedroom and maybe the side of buildings like other people, she would never know.
