He took the time to make sure the door was shut good as he spoke. "Yes and it is not because it was not clean it was it was just that I did research on google. RSV, Alice. Everything needs to be super clean because their systems are so new and now that they are out in the world Aurora and Ayden are like fresh so things attack them and I could not risk that." He took in a breath.

"Also since you will be healing you do not need to worry about anything but the babies and yourself and I will take care of everything else. I'm not sure that Sam did not hack someone else's credit card information while she was ordering the stuff since it did have someone else's name on it some Ryan guy or something but it is okay." He shook his head as his whole right side went camouflaged. "It is not okay but I will make sure to mention it to her later." He nodded. "She will bring him by later, she seems weirdly into being a parent. Can not say I seen that coming at all."

"She seems adjusted which I am hoping is good but still Sam since I just know she committed credit card fraud to get this stuff, though she says that they are friends so maybe she knows something I do not." He was remaining calm as he spoke. "Okay," he said as he helped her up. "If it's rainbow colored I'm sorry I have no idea what she did with it."

Sam was a little strange at times but her heart did seem in the right place. "As for what you have to work with I think everything. Bottles, cups, breast milk pump which is harder than it sounds apparently. So many clothes."

"I am sure Sam will take care of it." Lucas did not want anything to do with it because if he found out that she had did some dirty stuff he might have to scold her and right when they were just now starting to get along. It felt like a rock and a hard place but he was not going to lose focus for now. "Yeah she totally went overboard but I mean I will help clear it out as we no longer need it and just be thankful for what she tried." Still though Sam's pack rat habit he hated. "So, how are you really feeling? Pain and all that aside."

He did imagine so he had no idea what the female body went through but it seemed painful but more than that draining. He figured that was also why there was an extended waiting time on healing which he was fine with too. "Yeah I hope it's a good thing that she looked ahead." Probably for the jail time she might serve. "I think that means that you are emotionally attached to us and then the fact that we have children means our emotions probably grew."

He was glad but he also could see it being scary because it was not known territory in a way. She seemed to be keeping busy while she talked as he looked but stayed quiet for the moment. "Alice," he said as he thought. "How about we sit down for just two minutes, five at the most."

He moved to a corner of the room and he watched letting his mind take it in before he could actually say anything. He did not know if this was the reality of having two children when you just expected one or if it was being thrown into motherhood before it could properly be discussed but he did know that the reasoning for this did not matter it only mattered to work through it. He was going to have to be strict which he did not know if he could do. He watched her motions and then he looked over at Aurora and Ayden and smiled slightly. Yes this was a lot, possibly even too much for her and him but he just let it happen.

He followed her to the kitchen as she handed him the baby bag which he put down out of the way as he still watched. He was trying to figure out how to do this also without possibly getting hit by wings but he just stepped in front of her and looked at her and then he spoke. "I need you to sit down and if you do not I will have to sit you down for your own safety," he said politely.

He wished to understand but everyone stepped into parent hood differently so even if he understood it for himself, he could not say without some uncertainty that he understood it for Alice but he knew this was perhaps shock. Maybe even a bit of a feeling of lost or what now all right and more than likely all piling at a very high amount and tempting to come crashing down at once. He did understand the need to feel as if you were ready, while his field was science and hers was detective work they were both things that you could step back and relook at if you needed but children were not like that.

"Alice you are not going to like what I say and that is fine, you may not even truly like me much right now not really deep down because we do have children together now and our life is not what it was and right now that is different and fast and scary but you nor I can get ready for this. It is a thing, a journey that will and is going to have so much that we do not know how to handle and what we do will never be handled the same every time."

Her questions were logical but the solution was not. "There is no way and there is no answer and that is scary but you are not doing it alone. Even if you feel like you are or if you feel like you have to you do not but Alice as much as I love you, there is no solution that is going to make this easy. You can not lock it up in a cell just as I can not stand over it and formula a solution, it just has to happen naturally."
