She hated hosting events but it was once again time for ARI to hold a gala of sorts though she was only going around and shake a few hands and then leave herself, she had opened the door for a few people to come in and pay to get in if they wanted their pictures taken and such. All proceeds of course were going to the island as she fixed her suit and let out a deep sigh as the music began to play. "Stupid galas," she said as she smiled. [open this is an ARI event so ARI employees only have to pay $200 to get in, fee for everyone else is $700 this is also black tie so dress as needed or no entry] |

Seven hundred dollars to get into anything was beyond crazy but she wanted to go and so here she was. Black tie was also something that she had hated but she did not want to be turned away at the door so she had did her best as she paid her money and went in. |

Her yellow peacock feathers adorned her black outfit as she walked into the gala. Her sister was clearly ripping people off at these prices but whatever she paid and made her way in. |

He felt it would be a bit rude not to show up so as he paid he looked around. Hopefully everything would go well at this gala but he was curious what the cause was for it. No matter as long as the research facility could benefit he would never ask too many questions. |

He did not quite recall if he had been here the last time such an event as this had happened so he had grabbed a suit, cleaned himself up and made his way in. He paid where he had to and waited for the events of the night to unfold. |

His wife and her hate for events like this and yet here she was throwing another one. He slightly tugged at his suit in an attempt to fix it though the truth was that he wished she had went with a more relaxing dress code but he figured if you did want everyone to look good for the pictures then you had to start somewhere. She normally did not do fancy events at all but she had to come out and see what this would be like. She was aware that since this was not the type of thing she normally went to there was a chance that she would hate it completely and still she felt almost compelled to show up.

She did not like the color black against her skin so she had opted for a white dress as she went and stood by Avery. "Hi," she said. "So far so good I think."
