Then added "lets see if we can find you new clothes". She was finding herself at least thinking more about possibilities even if she wasn't believing in every weird thing she heard about. Knowing the possibilities was enough a lot of the time.

"Perhaps some day you might even be in ARI. You seem curious enough for them and that trait is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. Never be afraid to ask questions".

Eric was also amusing. That was another good side to him.

Madison laughed a little as well. "Well before you discover world changing things and charm the ladies I would suggest getting through school first. Then it might well be an option" she posed back but at least he had an idea of what he wanted to do now.

Eric knew what styles suited him so she'd let him lead from this point onwards.

Eric took a good look through different types of clothing and they were certainly in no hurry. She liked what she was hearing so far and that included picking up that he looked out for his friends in school. "I did the same in school myself. My brother and my friend Amber along with myself were a team. We were neighbours in fact and she was part of our group from when we could toddle. We looked out for each other and it is good to have a broad education. Then you can see where that leads you later on" she replied.

She was still close to Amber and her brother even now. He had people he could count on too.

Madison gave a smile back hearing this. It sounded like Eric was set for life with these friends of his so replied "it sounds like you have have all the people you need in your life. You still might find more.

So an epic party is guaranteed. You're fifteenth is the first birthday you can start to feel like an adult. I did and while I wasn't there at that point I knew I was closer to it. That parents just let me plan it myself but I did involve my brother and Amber too". She'd also by that stage in her life continued to explore the world of girls and finding chances to experiment.

Looking back at Eric she knew you had to keep the core of yourself intact. Things could change round that but her values, a sense of justice and that personal drive hadn't. She even felt paternal these days. "I think you'll keep the core of yourself and once we help your sister she can help too. We do grow up and that can't be helped. Your friends will grow up with you too. I don't think you'll lose them".

"We did get a lot done in a short time. Once back at the apartment you can get your laptop and phone charged and set up. First we need to get pizzas" Madison replied back with a smile. So paying for his new clothes it was time to sort out who got which bags and off to the food court.

So leaving the mall with bags and two boxes stuffed crust pizzas Madison did hope things would work out the way he hoped. At least she could help him grow up and be there for when Mickie couldn't . She had no doubt Mickie would be part of his life eventually but his path was already different from being in the orphanage.
