Ambers main sporting interests along with the occasional throwing of a football during down time in college was gymnastics and tennis. Her bestie had surpassed her it seemed after the last time they'd played a full match. Madison beat her so easily but she did take four games of her and that serve did seem about another ten miles per hour faster and harder to deal with. It was still good time with a friend but this Wednesday evening after work she was going through a familiar floor routine. Her outfit was gym activewear with a fitting cropped top and tight shorts and this was almost a dance with flips, backflips and tumbles. Also very short at under 90 seconds.
It felt good to move like this again and it felt so free. This was in addition to her gym and running work as although being a nanny was as active job you still needed to put the work in and watch your diet.
You needed your own music and she had a track playing on her phone. A Jackson Five song; I want you back with her phone also providing the time alarm she'd need otherwise she'd just keep on going. After this she'd just work on her tumbles and flips anyway but it did look very funky.

She was no gym person at all. At most she was a strange AI human combination and she was still learning her way around so she was new without being as new as some so as she happened upon the dance studio this morning she stopped watching someone tumble around. The small things you missed out on being AI were still so unique as she waved but did not speak so as not to interrupt. Amber Louise Stephenson

Amber didn't suspect she had an audience of one. Everybody learned new things all the time. Even AI's. Ending with a tumble and the showy landing when the song changed to the phone alarm she had an good idea in her head when her time was up. Stopping her phone she finally noticed the watcher waving. Being a friendly and curious soul she walked over phone in hand. there was people she'd been told about by Avery but never actually met yet. Visits to ARI with the babies were very rare so far. "Hello there. How are you?" she posed smiling. Given she barely knew anybody yet every time meeting somebody was an opportunity. Mason Struthers

She was still getting herself together as far as meeting people but even as an AI with a human body and human functions she knew the basics which was always good. "Hi, I am fine. My name is Mason," she said. "I work for the research facility as a," she stopped because she had no idea what her technical term for her job was. "Well I work for Avery," she said as she laughed. Here was another person who worked for Avery and this name seemed familiar; A Mason who was an AI was mentioned but she wasn't sure if Avery really meant that. Either way a pretty young woman was looking back at her and she'd figure out more later on. "I'm Amber and I look after Avery's babies so we work for the same person. I don't normally get to ARI very often but sometimes the little darlings need to see mommy at work; usually I babysit at her penthouse" she replied with a smile. Mason seemed to be easy to get on with as well. Mason Struthers

"It is a big building and if I am being honest a bit intimidating I would much rather spend time somewhere smaller but my job does not allow so I take for moments like these and cherish, value them more than the average peson does. It is good to meet another person who works for the same woman that I do. Makes me feel less like I know the least amount of anything that goes on around my boss but life is to be lived and so here we are." Amber Louise Stephenson

"Have you ever done gymnastics before?" Amber posed as this could be a way of getting to know Mason better. "It's good to have an interest away from work" she advised. Mason might already have one already that she didn't know about. "Don't stress about life in general; if you don't take the time to have fun and blow of steam you'll burn out and put your health at risk. I might be a nanny but I did a very different degree" she added softly. Mason Struthers

"There is no shame in being a nanny. They are like early llife teachers" at least that was how she felt. "Crucial I think that is the word that a lot of people use. Crucial moments are what nannies can find themselves to be best at." She nodded her head no. "Well no. I have not had the body that long so no idea what to do with it." She did not see herself as an AI but she was just more human which did confuse her at times. "Did Avery not tell you I am artificial intelligence? I look human but all in all simply a robotic system with a skin." Perhaps this was too much to say but she did prefer to be honest. "So everything is new to me though my walking and talking capabilities are no different from yours." Amber Louise Stephenson

A baby would get used to the nanny being there and even bond with them as she needed to show affection along with the care she gave. They also needed to bond with the parents which was the next thing. "That is very true. I started baby sitting as a teenager but being a nanny is much more involved" she replied with a smile. Avery had mentioned that Mason was an AI and now she confirmed it. So while she looked fully grown so everything would be new; what better place than this island to learn? "Avery actually did mention that was the case. Everybody is learning all the time and you could try new things; also test what you are able to do. I could teach you some of the gymnastics skills once you are properly dressed for the occasion; if you want to of course. Its easier starting this when are younger but its never too late to start" Amber added. Mason Struthers

"Yes and children make the world a better place. I believe that I believe that." It was still hard for her to differentiate her feelings from those that she had been told to have. She thought that was something that would come in time which was good for her. "Yes I do not feel out of place or anything I just have to know my limits for I am not sure what the consequences would be if I were to break something." Amber Louise Stephenson

So given what she heard from Mason she did sound sure of herself and curious. So Amber suggested “I’m sure we could give testing your limits a go. It dosen’t have to be gymnastics. Running or tennis might work as well. In fact I could help you explore all this starting with a shopping trip”. Even going to the mall was educational and enetertaining. Mason Struthers

Shopping. "The place that is tall with all the other smaller buildings inside of it where there is constant sing song type of sounds and people in lines to feed that which is hunger." She could not recall having been there. "As in go now?" she asked as she gave it thought and more thought. "I think this could be arranged." Amber Louise Stephenson

"I've never heard a mall described like that before but there's always a first time. You know we could go once I get showered and changed. Which would be about ten minutes" Amber replied as Mason's thinking processes had shown another viewpoint on something as simple as a mall. In this case a really big one which had its own movie theatre on the top floor. She also seemed to take the time to think things through; it hadn't taken very long but she was dealing with a AI lifeform that was learning all the time and she had to show her good and useful things. She did not know if this was bad but she did not know if she would know good from bad since she lacked what she considered real or true feelings. Sometimes when she would be walking around she seen this as a good thing but other times not so much. "That seems fine with me." It was a good life to live as though nothing had a hold on you but in no way it did not mean that you missed out on a lot. Amber Louise Stephenson

"If we have time we can also fit in a movie?" she suggested once Mason said she was up for going with her. So fifteen minutes later Amber met up with Mason again. This time in a cute yellow dress and wedge sandals and carrying her sports bag and they had time on their side to outfit Mason for sports activities. The same clothes could work for different activities but you did need proper shorts or a skirt for tennis. "Ready to go Mason?" she posed with a smile. Mason Struthers
