Nina S. Ortiz-Dune and first day adventure (Sophie/Sawyer)

“Look what else I found Carmen” Sophie added to this dress up scene. She was in her more usual dress mode these days but wasn’t finding much in what was being donated in her size or style. So had done her dress up as a mashup of a strappy top and wrap round skirt.

“These dresses labels are in French” she added. These came from someplace else and certainly looked suitable for Carmen or even Sarah. Then stopping she lifted them up so Carmen could see them. For a change Sophie wasn’t being creative and was trying to take a break. She still had time to figure out what level of time she could put into reclaiming dolls as she would have to go to school soon and pick-up where she left off at.

“Also quite different”. Pretty sexy if you had height and a figure as well as wanting to show these assets off. Nina looked settled for now but things could change quickly.

"Hi guys," she said. "I was thinking we could hang out today but by doing something fun with this baby. I have no internal idea what fun would be with a baby but I do feel like we could make some and perhaps even learn something today."

She turned to Sophie. "Yes I have been looking through it it helps to remind me of the times that we went shopping, had so much fun."

It was always a state of be careful around Carmen lately which he looked around and figured it was okay. He took a second and went and stood beside Sophie as a means of security. "You seem in good spirits Carmen which is good." It also appeared that she was not as against taking the baby out now too. "We should make sure we have enough bottles and diapers, things like that are important."

"I've heard there's a chicken shop in the old town. 'Inda's Grill' its called so we can stop by there and get what box meals we want from there. Nina will just need her milk and juice but we might also need to get Nina a cute outfit and hat first" she suggested. Sophie herself also needed to change into one of her two piece swimsuits before putting on a dress over it along with her sunhat and sandals.

There was nothing stopping her swimming but she needed help from time to time given she only had one good leg.

This was the start of the plan with it seeming Sawyer carrying the baby bag and Nina herself. She'd have the beach bags.

"Sounds like a good idea," she said as she looked at them. "Look guys I do feel like we need to talk and what I am about to say is not something that I want either of you to worry about. I had a little down moment after the birth but I am feeling better now."

"I think it might also be good if we did that. She might like it too," he said as he stepped by Sophie. He nodded to her and took a second to nod a head of thanks to her because he did want her to know how much he did appreciate her help with everything going on with Carmen.

Sophie knew had to put a lot more energy into moving around and she was recovering some of the energy she’d lost after being shot. Still she would need breaks and help for a while to come. She didn’t want to be burden so she kept going just like before. Roof tours were not an option right now but there was still plenty they could do.

So she suggested after giving Sawyer a smile “I suggest we go to the mall first. Get Nina a nice little outfit and hat. Also a baby swim suit in case we have to take her into the water; very carefully I think. Then we can get food somewhere and go to the beach”. A slightly altered plan as their food venue could be anyone and they needed to go shopping first. Miss Nina wasn’t properly dressed for the beach yet.
