extra long time fun - Alice

Alice knew she did have friends. Faye, Clark, Xander, Xandra, Lynn, Ciara and Dana. And she was getting to know Mallory too. Might it be enough for a family in the long run. She'd find out later on. Then she also had Lucas and Francis in her corner. She knew she wasn't alone now even if she had been alone as a little girl.

"I do have friends. Even some who battled with me in the last crisis" Alice replied.

Alice hoped good things would come her way. She'd dealt out plenty of bad things to bad people so perhaps karma balanced itself in the end? That was another question but any blood family she ever had would be forever unknown to her. She didn't even know her real name.

Yet things were looking up here. "I do hope so Mallory. So now you know about my love life how is yours going?" she posed cheerfully

“Just like Lucas and myself by the sound of it. I hope you both stay in love for a long time. Sometimes you don’t need to go out. Netflix and cuddling is sometimes enough of a date I find before other things happen” Alice mused. Which was what tended to happen in her experience at least.

"That extra attachment? The fun gun. Lucas knows how fun I can give him but I was shown my sex ed with a big dildo standing in for it" Alice laughed as she replied. "I hope you stay together for a long time" she added having something similar to that big toy she was shown years ago when her itch needed scratched and he was wasn't there.

"What brought you to this island originally?" she curiously asked knowing when she came here that finally ended project Alice for good. She could improve her life and make a success of it.

One word did seem to sum up Mallory's response and Alice smiled seeing that.

"I came to the island needing rehab given the screwed up way my childhood had been and it took two years get through that mess and back out of the rabbit hole. It did take a lot of trust on my part but I did something similar to make myself useful. A prolonged study of my wings and oddity flight in fact was done by ARI thought I honestly think it's going to be easier to build a jetpack than replicate my flight" she replied. She still did donate tissue and blood samples to keep that effort going but she doubted anything would ever come of it.

Then she added "it sounds like things have certainly improved for you. We both needed to come here".

Alice didn't have experience of big cities either; an army base was more like a small town in terms of what could happen and the MP's were kept busy even in a normal peacetime environment. "Even a small city like this one has its challenges but its fine to be scared. Overcoming that makes you brave" Alice advised. Loud noises didn't bother her anymore but when things got quiet it might mean danger in the field.

"I'll always be rough about the edges but bettering yourself is what life ia about. I don't think Lucas knows what happens when I get angry. He usually only sees the relaxed me" she added.

So what did happen? She got grumpy and annoyed for starters. "I'm harder to deal with for starters. then grumpy and annoyed and if somebody really angers me they earn a tirade an army drill instructor would be proud off" she replied. "Usually that's a criminal or somebody under interogation. So I'm good and bad cop at the same time".
