Everyone worked too hard. Even Alice’s friends and battle sisters from the university. So combined with a new friend she had arranged some girl time at a west coast beach. There was so many of them but this was twenty miles away from the city and no tourists were around. The time was 3pm as Alice pulled up in her red jeep at the meeting place which was the front of the ARI building. She had food they could cook in a chill box, a bottle of rum punch, soft drinks and disposable bbq’s. Most importantly there was rubber rings, ropes and they could have fun by the seaside. Everyone seemed to be here. She wore little black undershorts you’d use for going to the gym along with a green coloured dress that was short and backless. Under this was her black bikini she’d use later on. “You all made it” she cheerfully answered. They’d get to know each other on the way there as she turned to Lynn. “Things were good today. Nothing too hard to deal with” but nothing dangerous all the same. So far she’d never been shot but plenty of people had aimed at her. “I’m glad you could make it too Ciara. Meet Lynn and Dana” she added and then started driving again. They’d be there in less than an hour but on could enjoy the ride as the breeze a moving vehicle generated. They did have plenty of the day though the jeep might be a bit of a squeeze as they’d to fit in along with the equipment on board. The traffic was also light as they headed west and also slightly inland as she knew a few shortcuts. “If anybody has a cd with them feel free to put it on” she cheerfully suggested. “I like this too” she replied to Ciara as she kept going at a steady 50 mph. They were starting to hit more inland traffic so would have to be patient and even stop in traffic. That included stopping for goats crossing the road led by a man. Possibly the farmer. “Perhaps that could only happen here?” she chuckled.
