Sophie knew what her own ability could do. She also knew what Jack could do but seeing this was both a little scary and also informative. So now knowing what Avery could do that did open her eyes to life's possibilities. Who knew how many kind of oddity she'd get to know later on? "We feel different and at this point of time the OSE would want its hands on me" she replied thoughtfully. Then she nodded getting used to the wheelchair as she moved it round a bit in the office. She knew what she needed right away and what she'd need to get later on; she had a feeling it would be social services care from this point onwards. So would also box up what she'd need later before going to the hotel. "I'm ready to go now Mrs Ashford" she added feeling a bit more confident about controlling the chair by herself. She was the fighter getting up from the canvas and while she still felt like the groggy boxer she was at least back in the world. Avery Ashford

OSE, that was a whole different pain in her ass. "I just heard that their headquarters got finished too," she said as she sighed. "That just means we need, or I need rather to start looking into different ways to protect the island is all," she said. That was going to be the hardest part of her job always. She needed to find herself an inside person. "Do not let that get you down though Sophie, we are still going to protect our citizens as we should. It is what we do along with making life as comfortable as we can for all other oddities as well." Sophie Chang

Just freaking fantastic. Sophie's thinking hearing about OSE having formal offices here now and she wouldn't mind setting fire to that building some day. Just like an little inferno and upsetting their plans. Right now she quite literally had to sit tight and get better before she could do anything. Sounding a bit more grown up as she said this Sophie replied with a sigh "That's just absolutely fantastic. I'll flame skewer the first one who comes for me". She did mean it too as she knew who the real enemy of their kind was. Her father had said so as did her aunt. Both normals but they understood as they'd known her mother too well. "I know what I need and it shouldn't take long" she added in a softer voice now she'd voiced her frustration. Avery Ashford

"Flame skewer?" she asked and then thought and then she genuinely laughed. "Oh that is quite clever," she said not realizing she was indeed bonding with a child for once in her life. "Okay," she said. Once the two were back at the apartment she helped Sophie and spoke as she waited for her to open the door. "This really is not the best place but it is better than being homeless." There was layers to Sophie and one of these was her being not to far from a psychopath. She'd already expressed the need to get revenge and clearly didn't see a problem with taking a life if she needed too now she'd done it once. The time she'd spent with Avery was quite informative and there was the beginning of trust and understanding now she seen some of the path in front of her. There was still the good girl and the driven girl but those robbers had taken more than her aunt from her. Violence also took her dads life and she'd shown she could kill already. So a car trip later and needing to take the stairs with crutches Sophie let Avery see everything. She had left the mismatched furnishing and rooms neat and spotless. In fact somebody could move in right away. Hearing what Avery had to say about the apartment and Sophie shrugged her shoulders just before she went into her bedroom and packed what she needed. She also slipped her aunts tablet computer into the backpack and added her own dressing gown and slippers. "I had better in LA but it was the same type of neighbourhood as here" she softly replied as she did appreciate the help she was getting. So moving to the kitchen she checked the fridge of her cooking supplies stored in sealed boxes. "I doubt I'll be back here so better tell the neighbours to use these up" she added which showed she was an organised person. When she'd be cooking again was another question she had no answer to right now. The last act was with Avery's help to box up any personal items and the rest of her clothes. Other bags already were waiting for collection by the thrift shop and that was mostly her aunts clothes, books and other things. The rest would remain for the next tennants living here. Then there was one last thing to do. Carefully take of the poster of the little dragon of her bedroom door. So it could go onto the door of her new room later on. The neighbours could tell others what had happened if they asked them. So with bags and boxes readied she looked back at Avery. Another chapter of the life was about to begin and she didn't fear it. So when they left Sophie knocked on both neighbours doors telling them to use the food up as she wouldn't be back and she'd be going to the orphanage in due course. Avery Ashford

The truth was seeing this reminded Avery that she needed to never go back to being lower class again. It was not like her richness had came over night and now that it had, seeing this also made her realize that even if for her own gain she needed to make sure everyone here got what they needed. "I know it's scary but your new life is going to be amazing." All because of Avery of course, because at the end of the day, she was the one that ran Ashford Institute and had gave literal blood and sweat for it. "All kids deserve it." Sophie Changend Admin
