A disco themed party sounded fun to Madison. So she replied saying "so how big a party do you think you'll have?" That also helped you think of a venue but at least she knew she'd need lights and disco balls.

"And when and where do you plan to have it?" she posed after she took some of the load of Mickie.

As Mickie outlined her idea in a general form it was starting to take shape. No more than 20 people, indoors and a late start. She knew from her night clubbing experiences that they didn't even open till 9pm. So a private party would be simpler to run if you started round that time too. The duration would also depend on how long the room was booked for.

"I think that the Ashford Arms might be the ideal venue for your party. They have larger conference rooms that twenty people would have plenty of room in. So with the disco lights you have you'd just need a DJ" she advised. The rest of the expected party things would fall into place as easily as a ladle rested in a bowl of rum punch.

"I'm not sure where you'll find the decorations but we'll keep on looking" Madison supportively replied. Which is what happened as likely stores were located and investigated. Just being here with a purpose was helpful to Madison. It was just too easy to buy things for the sake of it here.

She also gently reminded Mickie that she came in here to buy shades. So now they were at a shop at did those.

Mickie had a possible candidate lined up already but Madison didn't need a complicated pair of shades. She knew the bright sun here well so she picked up a pair of round lens shades that had a silver type frame and a deeper tint. Simple but effective.

With a smile and nod she replied "this pair I believe". She liked being with Mickie and added "those look good on you".

Madison chuckled a little and replied "I won't argue Mickie. So is there anything else you think you need in the mall?"

They could take as long as they needed here as the sights and things they could do would still be there.

So Madison smiled back as they walked out of the store with new shades. That in turn led back to collecting her bike again and them heading over to the bike hire shop two blocks away from the mall. She'd actually bought her pink bike she was riding so you could also purchase a bike once you knew what you wanted.

"Once you pick out a bike I'll be able to give you a cycling tour of the immediate coast. You might even find areas suitable for your kayak" she cheerfully said. going west from here took you past the marina. Going east took you out towards the coast road that ran beyond the older part of town and the slums. Then you'd hit the nearly unknown beaches and coves; at least until more tourists found their way out there.

Madison slipped her new shades on to get used to them as it looked like they were heading back down again to where they'd parked her bike. "It's still better if the bike is the right size for you; that's never a problem round here" she happily replied.

Then with her wheeling her bike out of the mall car park and on their way to the bike hire shop Mickie had ideas. "You might as well ask him; and that does sound like a good idea. If my girlfriend is free she might like a girls day out" she cheerfully added.
