Already it looked like Clark was onto a good thing but there was still questions to figure out. There was a lot of ifs to work through. Were the jewels real? How old where they if the first question had a positive answer? Would anybody else be looking for them back?

One answer would depend on the age of the soil level and the brick sample. So if a longer period of time was involved she doubted anybody else would be involved.

All this ticked over in her mind as she replied to both Clark and Faye looking thoughtful. "The library sounds good; and your apartment if we need it later but I would still suggest dating that brick sample. The library just might have information on the location of the fountain. I'm still thinking there's a house involved given we also found a basement and that can date the soil level".

She was still trying to put the pieces together but if she could date the building it would help a lot.

Clark had not been sleeping too well as he went to go speak and felt his eyes getting heavy before he could go on to ask any of the questions that the ladies were shooting his way. He slightly lumped over and his body fell on the ground as his sleep took over. His ability to dream scry waws unqiue to say the least as his body lay in a slumber.

The world around him began to become an empty void of nothing as he slowly tried to open his eyes but he was at the moment stuck in a state of sleep. Not dead but just laying sleep as if he was at home in his bed and not on hard surface beneath him beside the feet of the two ladies.

One minute he was talking and the next minute he was not and Faye looked at Alice. Was this her first time seeing this? Maybe so, that reminded her that she needed to keep up more. "Oh he's fine," she said as she laughed.

"He can dream scry or something I think it is so sometimes he just passes out like this. I am not even sure if we can wake him but it probably would be a good deed to move him somewhere a little safer." She bent down and got his shoulders and spoke to Alice.

"If you grab his feet we can set him up in a corner and try to wake him up."

In the sleep world Clark had control for himself but as for his limp body on the outside, well he was like a lump sack of potatoes. Still in the dream world his presence was felt as he sat simply drawing the scenery that he remembered seeing before he had fallen asleep.

Alice found her ability early in life. Aged four in fact as something had probally went wrong with the established process. The downside was being caged and having no real freedom for years. At least her physical skill was useful but she'd been employed more for her brain power once she went looking for a job. So hearing Faye declare it would be for the best to just leave him behind the giant pot plant was a relief.

"So what can Clark actually do when he's asleep?" she curiously asked. There was so many oddity skills and the usefulness of then depended on the situation and current surroundings.

She was honestly glad that he was awake. She did not want to have to call any kind of island rescue because she felt that even though they were innocent that might make her and Alice still seem suspicious and that was the last thing that she felt either of them needed in their life. "Thank you for waking up but we probably need to get out of here before you fall asleep again. It will not be easy explaining to people that we did not kill you or drug you since you would still have a pulse."

"Yeah that sounds good," he said. The last thing he wanted to do in the middle of anything was get anyone in trouble. "A ride in the jeep sounds fine too so we can head out anytime now."

He honestly needed to get a better grip on his power but he would get there one day even if that day was not today. Still he remained trusted in all that he did and was trusted with.
