beside the sea side - Lynn

Hearing Lynn answer the phone Alice smiled and sounded way too cheerful for that time in the morning.

"Good morning Lynn. What do you think about getting breakfast then going to the beach for water fun? Then we can figure out what we'll do after that later".

Alice could deal with water just fine though you might not think it. They could also pick up a bag of supplies after breakfast and keep going all day.

"I can be at the university at 5am. Bring a swimsuit along with your beach bag. See you then".

So with a time almost nailed down Alice was able to think about getting organised herself. A swimsuit under a dress would work just fine.

Now things were set up Alice had to get ready herself. So draining her first coffee of the day she firstly picked out a red dress that was short sleeved and short. Then figured it would be easier to keep things simple. A silver grey swimsuit would work for her.

So after her shower she slipped on the swimsuit as she'd dry out after the water fun anyway. Then slipped the dress over it and settled for a pair of deck shoes. She'd also need a hat to keep the sun off and picked out a white floppy hat for that purpose.

Then she set off to the university. She could see people getting out of the clubs by now but the day Alice and Lynn had in mind was only starting. Pulling up in front of the university she waved to Lynn. First stop would be a diner breakfast and a supply run if Lynn thought they needed it.

"First stop is breakfast. Then getting supplies if you think we need them" Alice cheerfully mused as Lynn got strapped in. Then they took off again with a stack of hash browns and eggs on her mind. Food even army cooks couldn't mess up.

She then had another question as they left the university behind. "Do you want to go back to Maidens Point or try somewhere else?" She also had her strappy purse and beach bag lying on the back seat ready for action.

Alice kept her eyes on the road slowing down a little. "It worked last time we went there and this time is about fun not work" she mused cheerfully. "Yeah some island legends are dumb" she added as they weren't to far away from breakfast.

So the 24 hour diner was the place they first pulled up at. They could even get takeout if they needed to keep breakfast for later on.

Alice had explored ancient ruins with Damon and given those existed along with treasure who really knew how far habitation of this isle went back? With habitation you had legends and fragments of those continued to this day.

Next they entered the diner as they kept talking. "There well could have been maidens and vampires for all we know and it got turned into a legend. As to your other thought..." Alice replied as she shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. Who knows what our ancestors got up to. I don't even know where to start with mine but wings are a stable mutation. At least one of my parents or a grandparent had them".

She politely asked the waitress for hash browns, sausages and runny fried eggs along with a pot of coffee. That would fit her requirements quite well.
