Tennis Practice (tag Madison)

While they could still hear each other Madison replied "I was glad to help and it looks like you also have admirers. Even I didn't manage that on my first night here. Tonight is about having fun and having no regrets". She gave her hand a supportive squeeze content to be the guide and then Elizabeth gently separated them again. She could see hands resting on Dana's waist which was a clear sign she was certainly into her.

With them paired off again it looked to Madison that the other girls would probally make it to closing time and then she'd have to put them up for the night. Looking back at Samantha she smiled knowing she hadn't done this in a while. University had kept her so busy in the final year of her masters and now she was working full time as well. She had needed this night out too. So dived straight into the dancing with no worries or regrets.

And closing time just flew by and the fun wasn't finished for the night as outside and the night air sobering people up a little She was phoning an uber to get them back to her place.

However all good things had to come to an end and the story picks up at Madison's apartment. Thankfully it turned out that Elizabeth and Samantha weren't so drunk by the time they got there and like hungry little chicks they were looking for food. "Make yourselves comfortable. I should have something to throw together" she informed them and now had a chance to talk properly with Dana in her little kitchen; the apartment wasn't that big either so it would be two in the bed, one on the sofa and another on a armchair later on.

"It looked like you enjoyed that" she cheerfully mused to Dana as she came up with a meal from the contents of her freezer. The air frier she owned would be busy as first up was chunky fries with chicken gravy. She also found a bag of fish goujons that would be cooked next.

"There's also a bottle of lemonade in the fridge if you still feel thirsty" she added as she was making the dipping gravy.

Madison left her gravy preparing to give Dana a caring hug. The question she posed was as old as time or probally as old as monotheism was once it started its spread across the world. "It is perfectly natural Dana. Don't let anybody tell you its not.

Now you've asked the question of the ages. People like you and me and the rest of our community have had to to hide what they are since the rise of the mother church. My family are practising catholics and when I told them my brother was cool with it but my parents thought they'd need to call an exorist. It didn't turn out to be that dramatic as I just had to listen to the old priest and tell him I was leaving his organisation forever.

We've only really had a generation of being able to show who we are in most countries. In some its still a death sentence but right here we are free. Does that sound like what oddities go through to you? It does to me but its a battle against the rest of the world to gain full acceptance.

She likes you so don't expect much sleep of whats left of the night. Your journey started tonight but it won't ever end as its a whole new way of living".

She couldn't tell if a person was normal or an oddity and wouldn't want to either just by looking. This isle might well be a haven for humans too.

Then she tested the gravy and heard the air frier ping. Checking the fries she served them up onto two plates and then started the fish goujons off. That was for her guests and once everything was served out she’d cook for them.

Madison smiled and suggested "if you bring these out to Elizabeth and Samantha along with the lemonade it would be great. People tend to feel hungry after a nights clubbing and they are no different. It's only the first course and the fish will follow". She was sure by the time the fish would be ready there's be no more fries left.

Then she started to look through her fridge for the lemon juice and while she wasn't the greatest cook in the world she knew some people liked their fish with it.

She was glad she'd helped Dana out and would continue to do so. As the other woman had said the journey was a marathon and you'd need a running buddy all the way.

Madison continued to check on the fish goujons as she normally only cooked for two people tops. So tonight was a bit of a challenge. Shortly enough they'd serve these out too. She also located four glasses and brought these out along with the bottle of lemonade. It was important to rehydrate after what they'd all done tonight.

Then she caught up with Madison as she could hear the other girls enjoying themselves as the radio was now on at a low level. Dana would see the next portions that were to be cooked already to go. Madison didn't mind getting hers last.

"It's not exactly Masterchef US but it will do" she cheerfully mused still looking quite energetic as their hostess. "Five more minutes for the fish too." Something very British she certainly hadn't planned to put on but things had worked out that way.

Five minutes wouldn't take that long to pass as this fun night continued. She did have a question to ask as she also placed the lemon juice on the dining table. The drinks were now ready and they just needed the fish to cook.

"Do you get to cook much in the university?" she asked. This was certainly a students level which she'd need time to improve on. She remembered the dorms had little kitchens but nothing major.
