Tennis Practice (tag Madison)

Madison gathered the balls from the back of the table setting up the same game mode as before. "Dana, you're a fast learner you know. Same again; spots and stripes" she replied figuring she'd lost that game for sure with the foul on the 8 ball coming very unexpectantly. The pool room mix was quite good tonight and it changed again as she finished setting up. Blue Monday was playing; the original version by New Order. So this was like their own little party as she bobbed her head prior to the next break off. But first some of her beer. She had good music, pool and great company.

She couldn't help a little dance as the song played on and gave Dana a little friends type of kiss. "So how are you finding tonight so far?"

So now they had an audience and an impromptu little party in the pool room. They were now four of them and Madison smiled back at both girls. They also had their drinks and Dana was clearly happy. A group becoming larger wasn't unusual here.

It turned out that the new arrivals also went to the university and since Madison had also been there until recently that made it a uni night. Elizabeth was the small raven haired girl and Samantha was the taller blonde. So the game became a doubles match.

There was laughter, more drinks and chilling out as the racks kept being played. Dana was getting particular interest but this didn't bother Madison. It was probally her height and her accent that was the reason.

"It's 4-3 for team Dana & Elizabeth" Madison replied. Not that the overall result mattered to her as she was just having fun tonight with Samantha's company. She also noted that Dana and Elizabeth were getting on quite well which was a good thing.

Then Madison broke off again and she sunk a spot. They'd continue this party for a while yet as the drinks continued to flow.

Next up was Dana and the game continued in this manner. Neither pair were getting too far away with the score and then they stopped to do a bar run. Samantha suggested a jug of a cocktail and Madison agreed. It was the kind of drink that could catch you out but the jug would keep them going for a long while. "Surprise me" she said.

By now Madison was getting rid of the rust from her pool game but still wasn't as good as Dana was getting. So three shots later she was handing the cue back to Dana having played herself out of position and having to play safe.

It was then that Elizabeth and Samantha came back with a jug of cocktail and four glasses; they also looked very pleased with themselves. Madison wondered what was on their minds. Then looked at the jug of cosmopolitans; multiples in fact as there was enough there to keep them going until closing time. "I think we're about to have an episode of sex in the city" she posed back to Dana between shots. They still had three hours before closing time having spent quite a while here already. Then the fun could continue afterwards at another venue.

Madison considered Dana's question before she took her shot. That was what it felt like and Dana had picked up on it too. Either way Madison would have to be the sensible one and get two certainly drunk girls back to a safe place;  three if Dana got drunk on the cocktails.

Her apartment wasn't in the gated community so she could be a short term host but things might get a bit cramped if bedding arrangments had to be made. So be it but it didn't matter if two girls shared a bed or not.

"I don't know what your place is like but I know the university. They'd have a hard time getting back in late in the morning. It'll have to be mine as I know how to deal with two drunk girls. It's always been my job to be the sensible one" she quietly said. "It'll be a bit cramped but we can cope".

Even if one of said drunk girls took a really special interest in Dana what she'd said would still apply. Then she took her difficult long shot on and missed. The problem being she'd left the table wide open for Dana.

Now that was a question and a half. Madison wasn't quite sure but she'd never known a student being refused service at a bar. she also knew the isle wasn't US territory so she assumed it was 18. Laws were a little vague here but there was basic ideas still in play of what was right and and wrong that also applied in the rest of the world.

"I'd assume 18 as I've seen all students get served alcohol" she mused as she potted the black to win that scrappy frame. "It would be 21 back in New York although" she added. She also observed that Elizabeth was very close to Dana by now; quite possibly mutual too as Dana was doing the holding in. So she'd put them together when it came to to sorting out rooming arrangements.

Addressing all the ladies present she had an idea. "How about we head back to the nightclub proper and finish of these cosmo's?"

It would be a good way of finishing the night off before they headed to her place.
