| why was it then whenever you went out to do errands one always got hungry. he had food at home. he even had something in mind that he wanted to make, but one step near the food court and those plans went out the window. so now came the decision of what to eat. did he want something light like a pretzel with cheese or did he want pizza? |

Xander always found that going out to do anything seemed such a chore at times and then he would smell food and that would simply give him more of a reason to be out especially if pizza was involved. He had stood in this line for an excrutuating fifteen minutes but to know that he would soon be able to put down three slices of pizza with ease somehow had comforted him as he looked around. He spotted a guy who looked like he was in the middle of a hard decision and Xander spoke. "Always go with the pizza," he said as a word of advice and nodded. "Honestly all the food is good so up to you in the end." @emmett |

his thoughts were interrupted when he heard someone suggest pizza. he chuckled expecting him to hear that it was the better option or something along those lines."that's what i was kind of leaning towards. i mean you can't go wrong with pizza."everything sounded good so there was always another chance to come back and try something else.

Xander took a second and nodded as he spoke. "Eater's choice really but it does get my vote," he said as he took a second and then extended his hand. "I do not think that i have seen you around here before, I'm Xander, how do you find that you are enjoying the island so far?"

it was the first thing that popped into his head when he thought about food. though seeing the other choices made him second guess his decision. he knew it would be his last visit to the mall, so he would just have to come back another time to try something new. he nodded in agreement.
emmett shook his head."i'm emmett nice to meet a fellow pizza connoisseur."he said with a laugh."it's a nice place. i'm still kind of getting used to you know. not hiding not that i had a hard time with hiding."he rambled."anyway, it's great."

Xander nodded. "I know that when I first got here everything seemed to be almost a little too much for me and it took me, hell honestly a few weeks to adjust to it all. There was so much to see and so much temptation that at first I was not sure that it was not all some sort of a dream in the end."
He knew that might have sounded odd but it was true. None the less, he went on. "If I thought hiding would do any real good I can see why one would want to however there is also plenty to do on the island depending on what it is exactly that you might be into or want to get into."

Even he knew that chances were rare well to get a second chance. "I try never to steer anyone wrong when it comes to pizza but you know what? I agree with you when it comes to a second chance. I mean this is paradise at least looks wise but it is also something, a place where we can find out who we are and find new choices if we need."
He shrugged a second as the line moved. "You got any family or anything like that here or you just solo?"

emmett nodded in agreement. everyone deserved a second chance right? especially those that weren't even given a chance to begin with. also could you really steer anyone wrong with pizza? emmett didn't think so. the line started to move and emmett had almost forgot he was still waiting in line.
he nodded at xander's question."yeah, i tagged along. my cousin decided she wanted to come and i couldn't just let her go by herself."

Family. It was good and bad. You worried about them even if you did not want to but at least the young lady had someone to go with her. "That's honestly a good move so you know. I mean the island has lots that people can get into and I am sure that you will find that out on your own. We can hang out and do bro type shit if you want, though it's easier to catch me on the days when I am not eating," he said as he laughed.
