She was still trying to figure out just what was going on with her and Bryce. It did not upset her she just knew that a lot of times work would get in the way and while that was the last thing she wanted the two of them were workaholics, especially tonight. Conflicted.
That was the true answer but it was complicated beyond that, my mind was boggled and foggy because of the personal stuff between myself and Blythe. Still if I could think clearly and ignore what was going on with me and her I was starting to think that this job was fishy. I feel over the last few months that we were targeting people who didn't deserve it and It was starting to weigh on my mind.

It was hard to know if you should trust someone and she knew that as she listened to Bryce. The way that people treated you especially when you needed it the most helped to factor into if you should trust them or not. "I mean I just figure if it comes to if we should or should not trust someone everything is going to come out into the wash as it always does." She nodded. "Yeah there are a lot of families that get wrapped up into this even unwillingly so." She went quiet for a second. She had always known that they had moments but Bryce seemed to have a way of ruining them with mentions of death. She simply shook her head and went to go speak when he said it was go time. He paused double guessing his first instinct. What if she got hurt? What if it was a trap and he couldn't help.
"let's go right," He spoke again and nodded for her to follow him. His powers were weakened in the dark, they had been in the shade for a while and he wasn't able to charge his power as much as he would want. And he couldn't use them yet anyway, it would give off light and ruin the element of surprise.

I took off running full speed at the guy, as I got closer I jumped to take him and *poof* a puff of smoke and nothing else.
Did he teleport?
Was it an illusion?

I had no idea but as I looked back at Blythe I seen three figures coming up behind her, I shouted

The only problem with dealing with people who had powers was indeed the fact that they could and would use them against you. She heard Byrce's voice as she turned in time and shot at one but he moved so fast out of the way she was not sure. Every time that they went in on a mission she would be lying if she did not say that it scared her. The field they were in was always dangerous but she felt like they were making such important strides that it outweighed everything else. As they continued to chase she tried to look at everything and remember it too. Still she got up. "I'm good, you take the lead and let's get these bastards caught."
