He did not want to outdo the carnival so he had decided that his party that he had planned was being held at the brothel under a carnival theme. This included bright colors, masks if wanted and was open invitation so people could mingle.

She had not traveled much through the slums but she did love her a good party. Maybe a part of the excuse was because she could simply be herself so she walked in to see what she could find.

Being apart of the ravenmore family she had no choice but to show up but she did like events like this. The last one her kidnapping had happened and maybe she needed one where everything did not seem to go to hell.

Off course she knew Brett was throwing a party. She was practically part of the family as well as she showed up in a short black dress and little heels. Her barbed tail flicked as she entered before she hung up her jacket and then she looked around to see who was actually here. At present she only recognised Brett so he got a wave and cheery smile. Having a sanguine skin tone with dark hair certainly marked her out. If there was going to be trouble she could certainly deal with it but this was supposed to be a party. He had taken the time to plan a party when it seemed that everyone's phones started buzzing and he looked. "Seems we need to be on the lookout. Right now it does not seem like they are here but it does not mean that they will not come this way."

As a person who was used to danger she could deal with this situation more easily now she had a heads up. She hadn’t fought Strife personally but known mercenaries and criminals who had tangled with them. They were just as happy to kill normals as they were oddities and it didn’t take much to be an enemy of this cult. “We should at least get time for a drink or two” she remarked to Erica. Then introduced herself saying “I’m Rebecca. Pleased to meet you”. She did still sound relaxed but she was contemplating this situation very quickly. Surely Brett had something she could use and she wasn’t even sure of the abilities of the rest of his family. Alicia was the exception. So moving over to Brett she said “firstly we need to secure the doors. Then have lookouts upstairs and make up some Molotov cocktails”. That was barebones defence and here being a bar meant empty bottles. Gasoline might be the issue but she did add “have you by any chance got firearms? I could go on the roof and keep an eye out”. If she hadn’t been such an obvious oddity she certainly would have gotten more mercenary work but she did have the experience that would help now. Brett RavenmoreErica Struthers |
