Alice enjoyed being with her children and Lucas but perhaps she could take Ayden to do what he wanted. Perhaps arts and crafts or a costume first as to know flight you needed to know about wings. “How about I get you wings?” she posed to Ayden. He wouldn’t understand the words but angel wings weren’t just found in nativity plays. “Should I get them both a set?” she posed to Lucas. So they’d get each other a set of wings. She smiled at that thought as together they’d raise these little ones; something she hadn’t herself. Picking Ayden up she looked back to Lucas. “We’ll both teach them a lot my love. I can’t chose my cases but one might come up that won’t end up as a shootout” she mused as she nursed her son. He nervously laughed it off but even when he should not he still worried but he knew a job was a job. "I laugh about it but I have seen some pretty strange stuff down at the research center as well. “You’ll always have locked rooms and mysteries there but you know you’ve got nothing to worry about there” Alice replied. Unlike her job and a lot of the time she felt she wasn’t making much progress with clearing up crime. It wasn’t the cases she had with her partner that felt that way. “Let’s get these little ones to bed first of all. Then perhaps a movie and a beer” she suggested with a smile. It honestly wouldn’t surprise her if their little darlings woke up during their moving and joined them on the sofa but that was parenthood. “They might my love but let’s hope for the best” she replied. So carrying Ayden to the nursery she got him ready. He’d be just fine in his baby grow and he didn’t need his diaper changed. Alice knew she’d have to settle Ayden again so picked him up. “I’ll be fine with Ayden. He’s not in the mood yet but at some point he will” she replied. He did find it the most fulfilling when they did things like this even in knowing that having kids could be stressful and rewarding it somehow still managed to work itself out which he was glad for. Alice loved her children even with their antics. So looking back at Lucas with Ayden playing with her hair she replied “taking them out before bedtime might help. In fact I could get him dressed again and take him out for a flight”. It looked like Aurora would be good for her daddy as she looked settled. “At least they sleep most of the night. He was right there on the kid front. He never expected one kid none the less two but here they were somehow managing. "Yeah I would not trade any of this or had did any of it differently," he said because that was honest. It was also scary at times considering jobs and attacks but the now was good. “He’ll be fine with a hoodie on” Alice confirmed and those baby hoodies were really cute. They were still baggy but before long Ayden was ready to go out again. Most mothers would have pushed him round in a stroller for a while but flying above the city was the treat for her son. “I won’t be long Lucas” she added with a smile and out the door she went. Once outside she held him securely and took off.
