Hell if she was not going to play nice then he'd teach her to. He hit her three more times with the napkins on her head. "Bad, bad, bad," he said as he threw his hands up in the air. "Tell her," he said as he looked at his aunts. "Tell her that is no way to treat someone who is protecting you."

It was like she did not understand him at all still! "You will die without me Daphne, now please stop fighting this," he said as he hit her on the head again with the napkins. "Stop bullying me."

Oh dear god. It was the only thing that she thought as she looked at them. "Hunter, throw some magic up and get us out of here." She thought she might have seen Taylor do it before but even if not she did not see why this kid could not. "We need to be somewhere where people can not see us so the two of you can properly hash this out."

At this point she also wanted to throw them into an arena and let them go at it but that did not seem like a particular solution. "Make it quick I am not going to jail for you." Fuck where were this kid's parents when he was acting bat shit.

He went to go speak when he watched the mall around them change and he heard that drastic circus music as he heard Daphne speak. "Really need to learn how to use that power of yours Daphne," he said as he looked at her but it was too late. Magic and performance were similar in so many ways as he felt himself changing as that stupid circus tune still went on.



His head however began to move along with it as he began to speak. "Dun, dun, duuuuunnnnn," he hated this music. It was nothing but a way to distract you and yet it continued on. "Da da da, dun, dun, dun dun dun dun dun dun." There was that stupid trumpet solo of sorts as he looked at them.

"Daphne you really weren't going to tell us you had performance art powers?" he said as he held up his hands. "No magic from me this is all you," he said. "I love clowns though," he said as he looked at her. "You really should not be sitting on such secrets my darling," he said. "Now we must find an exit, but first, the most exciting thing about any circus, popcorn!"

Hatred, she felt it as it ran through her bones and it felt deep. Love she did not see how this could or would ever turn to that and because of that no one wanted any popcorn. "Hunter get back here right now!" she screamed at him and yet he was gone but this world it seemed intrusive as she watched the circus people around her as they "performed" their acts as if people had never dropped into their world. "HUNTER!" she said.

They were being tugged in every direction but anyone that was one that would say or even think that perhaps they could learn to work together. "Take us out of this world right now you bastard."

He paused and turned to look at them. "Why is it that I am getting the blame? This is not my doing also Daphne stop yelling at me I am talking to you calmly and talking you through this since you obviously were born a disgusting human and have no idea how to work your new found abilities now that you are human plus perhaps? Maybe even full on course oddity? God even as something different you completely disgust me. She did this to me and yet I am taking the blame," he said as he held up his hands.

"This is not magic this is performance art and yes the two are similar but the anger that runs through Daphne is why we are here. Girl it's your own maze to figure out, your own life's choices playing right before your eyes and you want to put the blame on me? Sad choice for the mother of any child you are," he said as he still looked around for popcorn but found none.

He thought that perhaps he could help her but she had not asked him nicely. "Now I can help you but you have to be nice to me. My magic if I am able to access it would be limited since this little thing that you did without knowing how is new to me, my body has never been here my mind remembers nothing of it, but this is the second time you have pulled me into a different place." She did love him after all it seemed that was glorious.

He sighed as he looked around and then shook his head. Magic to him was easy, a little too easy at times. "Magic has variables, and you pulled 4 people here but only 2 of those 4 people are unionized," he paused. "Doors don't really open for people who are not unionized Daphne, get what I'm saying?"

He could help her, he would help her but she was going to have to give herself to him. He did nothing for free. "I only help people who have the quinzell last name or are related to me by blood so I mean you want out of here it's going to cost you everything Daphne. Everything." Yeah he wasn't nice, not ever at least not without an underlining cause. "The thing is if you don't do this, you stuck my aunts here forever, not exactly how they want to spend their marriage for eternity I'm sure. You take your time and think about it, I'm going to go see if I can find some popcorn," he said as he put his hands together and then slowly pulled them apart revealing a jump rope.

"Oh! there that is," he said as he began to jump rope. "I love this skill," he said as he continued on. "Hands and feet in balance and numbers, man," he said as he stopped and tied the jump rope around his waist. "Be back in a few minutes hopefully with popcorn," he said as he walked around the circus. Hunter however was easily distracted as he looked up above and seen the tightrope. "Oh got to get up there," he said as he began to climb up the steps and got on the tightrope using his jump rope for leverage as he began to hang upside down and swing back and forth. This kid really was having the time of his life.

She sighed as she listened and he was of course gone doing something, anything except for facing who and what he was which to her was an idiot. Her? Was that the case as she turned to Madison and Mallory. "Fine," she said. Fuck, Marry, Kill because why not and she was not like him, she could feel herself slipping between reality and wherever this was. This did not feel normal as she spoke.

She carelessly threw her hands out and looked at them. Nothing. "Well what is the fucking use of performance art power if it gives me nothing?" she yelled. She took a seat right in the middle of the floor and thought about how he mentioned everything except for the fact that she had seen a younger him, teenage him and she spoke. "I'll be right back," she said as she went up the ladder and carefully sat herself on the rope and slid towards Hunter. "As always you're going to get your way Hunter because I am not trapping anyone here but after that you are going to be honest with me." She took a few minutes. "As your wife I will do the one thing your mother never did and learn to love you."

They clearly had moved now she’d had a chance to think about it. This wasn’t the mall but a circus in the way she remembered them from New York. Hunter thought that Daphne had done this and she did say she had a power. Perhaps being on this island for long enough gave you one?

On the other hand Hunter was clearly enjoying himself in this circus. Mallory also had suggestions about getting them out of here and then Daphne had to go to talk to Hunter.

So turning to Mallory she softly said “I think she’s more likely to kill him”. Yup that seemed the most likely thing to her.

Then she added “if Daphne was able to do that where did it come from?”
